  • They need to make one about the Russians now that would be cool

  • very well done

  • Band of Brothers was the best of the three.

  • @tornadofan2803 Sledge is great! So is his book!

  • @hippowithnoodles444 I think you could have added a couple of more saving private Ryan scenes. You should think about adding some more scenes to this video make it like 10 mins long. Great job btw

  • Before you make a dumbass comment

  • @Weintraubeheld221 I think someones a skin head. Learning about fucking history before ypu

  • @jiggyrules

Read the Book "D-Day: Battle of normandy" by Antony Beevor for example if you wanna learn about history. I bet when you read a book last time it was in school. Stupid fuck.

  • Hanks and Spielberg need to do a miniseries about the Germans during WWII.

  • @Theakker3B That would be awesome!

  • @Theakker3B The Japs would be cool too.

  • Masterpieces? Piece of shit would be more specific.

Don't care about the laws of physics, don't care about historic facts, everything is so heroic with music and all this shit i felt like i was watching a fucking north korean opera!

Fuck this shit. Fuck this german hating jew and his little bitch hanks.

  • @Weintraubeheld221 Hmm I disagree. German hating? If anything, especially with Band of Brothers, it was stressed how Germans were just like Americans, just thrown into a war they were helpless to get out of.

  • @hippowithnoodles444

Yeah, German hating garbage. Example? Look, the Unit which should save Prvt. Ryan is a mixed group of Greeks, Jews,Italians and i guess Diesel should act a black guy.

Thats total nonsens. In the 40s, in some US State slavery was still legal. There was strict racial segregation in the US Army while in the Wehrmacht served West-Asian Soldiers, Indians, Arabs, Turks and so on.

  • @Weintraubeheld221 That movie is based off of a book, Spielberg and Hanks were merely being true to that. There's one Jew in the unit which is just brings the audience character development as any decent film should. And what do you expect from an American unit? There's GOING to be people whose genes came from other countries being that their ancestors immigrated to the US. EVERY unit was like that.

  • @Weintraubeheld221 Also, yes, racism was still alive in the 40s in EVERY country. Look at a propoganda country from any country. Yes the Wehrmact served many ethnicities but they were also in segregated units, just like that of the US forces. Still, I don't see what any of this has to do with your "German hating garbage" point as all the points you're making are completely irrelevant.

P.S. If Hanks and Spielberg wanted a black guy for private ryan, they would've gotten one.

  • @Weintraubeheld221 you should learn some history. all slavery was abolished after the civil war..

  • @mattthoms17 Slavery? The Civil War?What does that have to do with ANYTHING? You try too hard.

  • @Weintraubeheld221 it was just telling the story of an american war story pointed toward an american auidence, you seem to disrespect the men and women who sacrificed their lifes, and your head needs to be screwed on because apparently he's just telling a true story nothing made up or showing hate towards anyone. They're all made to show how barbaric and bad war is, which apparently you dont even care about, and all you think of is how theirs laws of physics and shit...your pathetic

  • @xBIzMOx

Disrespect the men and woman blaw blaw, wrap your stupidity into phony patriotism doesn't make it true. If you don't care about the law of physics, in which grad could tanks shoot just for example, you don't care about logic.

Your pathetic sir, your the grunting afterbirth of a generation which was raised with BS Media Propaganda. Go to hell, you can ask the "men and woman" who sacrificed there what realy happend. Stupid fuck

  • Awesome video!

  • Have Hanks or Spielberg even seen this yet?

    THEY NEED TO.

  • @PacificJima haha! tell them to subscribe to me! jk jk

  • HBO The Pacific is my favorite

  • @Smibil67 Awesome! Band of Brothers is also my favorite of the three but I'd have to say my favorite movie is actually The Thin Red Line

  • Mindblowing...

  • @Chrille9320 Glad you liked it!

  • YO MAN IT WAS FUCKING COOL

  • @boronic8the888 Thanks man!

  • great video!

  • @Sgtkelly15 thanks!

  • The ending is vary touching my grandpa said the same thing many yrs ago before he passed he always said the hero's are the one's that are still there that gave there all RIP grandpa and all you soldiers that never made it home thanks for our freedom

  • Hanks and Spielberg need to keep it up! I want to see a miniseries about the Russians during WWII and also one about the Germans.

  • what these all have in common is that they are all bad ass

  • cool video

  • @Huhmasta thanks man!

  • they should make a Russian on the Eastern front war series. Or German or Japanese point of view. Not just American.

  • @TheStickUpKid187 Dude, I agree. Japanese would be cool, but I'd REALLY love a Russian or German one.

  • @TheStickUpKid187 yeah they should make a German war mini series like the Waffen SS and a Japanese army division on Okinawa. For some odd reason, I like the Axis Powers, the Germans and the Japanese military weapons and their fighting tactics. But my heart still goes to Allies that saved the world.

  • @TheStickUpKid187 Haha of course man. Gotta love the Axis sometimes. My favorite weapon in the world is the Mauser k98. I'd really love a German mini series.

  • @hippowithnoodles444 i like the MP40 sub machine gun, 98k rifle and the MG42 from the Germans and the Type 99, Type 100 and of course the Katana sword from the Japanese.

  • @TheStickUpKid187 For sure man, each military had unique weapons. I love the tommy. Even metal detectors. There was a U.S. soldier who got separated from his patrol and took 10 or 12 Germans prisoner with a medal detector because they had never seen one before and thought it was some super gun. I believe I heard that from WW2 In HD.

  • hey guys

whats the name of the first song?

  • @gamerfun1 "The War" by AVOX

  • @hippowithnoodles444 thank you

  • And also it looks like Dye advised and helped personally conduct the military training for all the actors in the three productions...very cool

  • The actor (Freddie Joe Farnsworth) who plays Captain Thomas "Stumpy" Stanley in Part 9 of TP also plays the Able Co. paratrooper riding on a white horse in Carentan in BOB.

The actor (Corey Johnson) who plays Major Kent, the battalion surgeon, in Part 9 of BOB also plays the 7th Naval Battalion (orange-marked helmet) radioman whose face is blown off in SPR.

Pretty cool to see that there are actors who dedicated themselves to more than one of these productions.

  • @nfl391 awesome dude!

  • @hippowithnoodles444 one obvious one I forgot is Dale Dye, who played one of General Marshall's personal officers in SPR, then Col. Sink in BOB, and helped produce TP. If you watch TP extras it looks like he was in charge of the whole Peleliu project in general for both directing battle scenes and creating scenery (like coral rock on the beaches and the odd structures on the airfield). You might want to call it Hanks, Spielberg, and to a lesser extent Dye if you want...Dye is a real Marine too.

  • Nice...... very nice =o)

  • @golcuvjenikov thanks! :]

  • Incredible film and mini series, my favorite Saving Private Ryan Character is Reiben as the sole survivor of the group even during the D-Day landings. From Band of Brothers my favorite character was also Doc Roe for his bravery and dedication to his company and from the Pacific my favorite character is Private Leckie for his endurance of the war and ability to adapt to all the changes he underwent.

  • @AguilaFenris Good choices! I'm reading Leckie's book right now :]

  • ah you forgot to put foy in the opening. but i guess you can count that as bastogne campaign.

my fav character in saving private ryan would be horvath, band of brothers my favorite is luz or malarkey, and the pacific my fav is sledgehammer but i also thought jay de l'eau and hamm were pretty cool. and snafu...

  • @infantryfilms2nd haha yeaaa i was going to but it seemed i might as well leave it at bastogne.

  • is a great video my great great father is an marines (im french he go poland to america after war he came in france he was ex marines) R.I.P he was go to pearl harbor guadalcanal saipan okinawa

  • @Heffron63 Very cool :]

  • is a great video my great great father is an marines (im french he go poland to america after war he came in france he was ex marines) R.I.P

  • I loved it!! I love all three, but Band of Brothers is my favorite. My fav character from Saving pvt. Ryan will have to be Medic Wade :) My fav from Band of brothers is Doc Roe(I have a thing for medics haha) and my fav from the Pacific is Snafu :) but everyone was Amazing :) keep up the good work..

  • @Bandofbrothersgirl thanks! and yea, medics are great. and you're right. pretty much every character that Hanks/Spielberg have created/portrayed are quite very likeable lol.

  • @hippowithnoodles444 i agree. the two bravest men on the battlefield were the medics and the chaplins. they would run out on the battlefield and try to save men who they know would probably die.or give them their last rights knowing they could get shot at any time. the germans didnt shoot them but for every medic/corpsman they killed they killed a man that they would treat. thats why now medics are armed where no marngs

  • oh, and Pacific was my favorite of the 3, just because, for me, it felt as if i was actually there, and i walked away from it feeling emotional wear and tear as if i was actually there, fav. char was of course sledge, cause his book is fucking awesome, but as an actor i think he could have done a tad bit better

  • @Pyromaniac1801 haha thanks a lot man! band of brothers is still my favorite, but i definitely agree with you about the pacific. really intense and really brutal. Sledge has a great story, but i also agree, the acting could have been better. really, really sad about Winters...

  • R.I.P. Richard Winters, you will always be a hero in my book, and about the video, to put it simply, beautiful, inspiring, and fuckin bad ass, i still remeber seeing one of your vids almost 4 years ago, and it was awesome, this one kicks its ass 100 times over

  • This is the most amazing fanvideo I've seen on youtube. Thanks for the hard work to honor our veterans.

I've read that Spielberg/Hanks will team up again to create a series on the Korean War.

  • @nfl391 haha thanks a lot man! I would love a Spielberg/Hanks Korean War series! That would be great! I still prefer Band of Brothers over The Pacific, probably only for the reason that I find the European theater more interesting than the South Pacific. That being said, I still REALLY loved The Pacific.

  • @hippowithnoodles444 speilberg and Hanks should make a WWI series based on the british and what they did. not many WWI films

  • @WBMGMproductions ooooh yea that is a great idea!

  • @WBMGMproductions no not british america!!!

  • @WBMGMproductions I don't think Hanks and Spielberg have anything to do with it, but I heard that HBO is making a WWI miniseries called Parade's End.

  • @Theakker3B Really?? That's awesome!!

  • @Theakker3B I just looked it up, it's going to be directed by the director of Generation Kill! Should be GREAT!

  • In terms of characters, you can't really choose someone from SPR, those characters weren't actually real-life people.

Band of Brothers, Liebgott, he was the only one shown participating in ALL of Easy Company's battles from Brecourt to the Last Patrol.

The Pacific, easily Sledge. Joe Mazzello turned in the best performance of any actor from the three productions, and was my favorite character of all. Episodes 5,6,7 and 9 of TP were better than any episode of BOB or others in TP or SPR.

  • Guarnere k u happy now?!

  • @NarutoDude134 heh heh yep :B

  • i loved the pacific! sledge and snafu were my favorite characters!

  • @shiz187 Snafu is great!

  • Band of Brothers Favorite Character(s): Luz, Malarkey, Winters, Guarnere, Buck, Webster, Martin, Bull, Shifty, Hoobler, Roe, Nixon, ah hell all of em!

Saving Private Ryan Favorite Character(s): Jackson, Miller, and Reiben

The Pacific: RV Burgin, Sledge, and Leckie

  • @NarutoDude134 haha alright, now narrow that down to your number one absolute favorite out of them all :)

  • Wow dude, you did a fcking amazing job!

  • @DeltaSniperZRR thanks bro :]

  • amazing....as always...

  • @shiz187 hey thanks a lot man!

  • some of your best work yet mate!

  • @NarutoDude134 Thanks man :]

  • This top notch, prob some of your best work. Keep it up and I have to agree with @vilhelm999 BoB is the best by far. I like Don Malarkey.

  • @pbWebb92 Thanks Webb! Malarkey is fantastic. One of the few Easy Company veterans that's still alive today.

  • @hippowithnoodles444 no prob man, although I gotta say SPR is a classic

  • This is first class, properly amazing the way that you have put this together mate.

Band of brothers is the best by miles and miles.

    Favourite character; Darrell Powers (Shifty)

He's such a nice bloke. A very honest, skilled and reliable character who is forever understated.

  • @vilhelm999 Thank you sir! I also think Band of Brothers is the best. Well said about Shifty, I completely agree.
