i agree. they need to monitor the soldiers more closely, so they can't get access to drugs as easily as well as come up with adequate punishement to help prevent them from trying to get drugs. unfortunately, kicking them out would leave america in a difficult position over there, and most of the guys who are using drugs probably would be getting what they wanted - a one way ticket back home. it's sad. you would think these guys would have more pride, regardless on their views of this war.

I agree 100% with what you say mate. They need to tighten up, monthly drug tests at random and stricter punishments for those found under the influence. My mate tested positive for coke, 14 days later he was discharged from the army. But british military is smaller than the US's so the number of drug users would be smaller.
