We need to stop putting so much time, energy and resources into building so many expensive cars. Most people can't afford them. Everyday people want quality cars at a good price. We'd rather live off making our own stuff than live off loans provided by the Banks which causes stress and burden to human life. We don't need all this building and development. It doesn't do much good to the environment. We need farms for food and tree growing for lumber to build homes and furniture.

The Volt is not a hybrid. Only the electric motor drives the car. The gas engine is only on board to act as a generator for the electric motor.
