good playin. after all its not my genre^^ but you also can play this with 009 strings. when you buy 013 for example you must reconfigurate your tremolo. if u have a floyd rose ... forget about it ^^ sry for my bad english ^^

drop b sounds pretty good. too low for my taste. do the strings slap on the frets at all. how is the action set on your fretboard, high or low

mines are low with .13 gauge strings and i play drop B

No. To hold the same gauge of Strings you have to buy 012 strings ;) or better you buy 013 Strings ;)

Your sound will be much better ;)
