Many thanks VJ - this takes me back to the many nights watching The Revillos honing their skills across Scotland in the early 80s. It wasn't just talent that made them so good - they worked hard, very hard and always delivered a proper performance (sadly unlike the other bands that came through the punk/new wave era - they just got lazy).
RIP the Kid, good luck Fay, Eugene, Rocky, Vince, Babs and Cherie. Fondly remembered above your contemporaries.
I have traveled to England to interview Nicky Forbes (Rocky Rhythm) who tells some great stories about his time with the group. This will be put together with the concert in a DVD, I hope this year. While you are waiting you could check out Nicky's book, a very fun read. Check their website for that. "The Rhythm Method".
Hooray! The Revillos in their prime, featuring whizz-kid guitarist Kid Krupa (rip) and performing VOODOO one of their signature reved-up tunes. Thanks for posting this brilliant clip!!
Enjoyed this too-brief clip. Where was this filmed about and are you going to post the full set ?
There's not enough Revillos material on this site - hasn't anyone got the sets from 'The untied shoelaces show?' (BBC Scotland Kids Show) Saturday Banana and Swap Shop?
Hi. I filmed this at a club called HURRAH in New York City on feb. 14, 1981. I have just located the second camera angle today and plan to edit the 2 together to make some finished films with it. Please check back and I will post info here when something is ready .
I'm in the middle of editing this now. I hope it will be ready in a few weeks! Will post when it's done.

Excellent news on a possible DVD - I was hoping something like this might occur after viewing this clip last year.
