that's not "very chinese-influenced." the only thing chinese-influenced object is the dan tranh. other than that, the music style and instruments are Vietnamese.

There isn't really anything similar to this in China.

the Vietnamese were probably a mix of Mongolians from China and Malaysians from thousands of years ago. Chinese accounts have mentioned describing the Vietnamese as a different group of people with a different culture and customs with a different verbal and written language.
