  • There is almost nothing out there that humans can't find a way around. We got around passwords and now fingerprint scanners. The only way you'll be secure is if Microsoft keeps shelling out new security likes there's no tomorrow because sooner or later it an idea for security wont work.

  • Hello, can anybody tell me what kind of cheap fingerprint scanner could I get just to capture and store fingerprints of people entering for the first time to a facility?, don't need it to id or passwords. Thanks.

  • look at v-pass

  • If you google for "MythBusters beat fingerprint security system" you will know hot to break this even with advanced system.

  • You need to do a little more research. :)

  • truecrypt is awesome and free - and at least I haven't seen anyone get by it yet...

  • Did you see Lemmywix's comment? "I prefer anal scanning..."

  • twenty bucks? helll yeaaa you can have it! yall start a line right over there.

  • what kinda protection's would (YOU) recommend to use? And how effective would they be?

What kinda software are program are you using to protect yourself from viruses, spy ware, etc.

  • On Ubuntu I use a program called Revelation, it stores passwords in an encrypted file, and can generate hard-to-crack passwords, so I only need to use my real password to login and open revelation, and than I can just copy the passwords to login to websites and such.

So even if I do get one of my accounts hacked (which is far less likely considering people cant even remember the generated passwords after looking at them) all my other accounts would be safe.

  • Hi, I developed a software for control of assistance and i used the Microsoft FingerPrint device that's really works, the thing is how you have programmed the comparisson of the fingerprint. The microsoft device is like any scanner device. I have to say i don't use the Microsoft recognition software because that is bad..!!!

  • There is a great fingerprint scanner on my Sony UX, the integration with the scanner and Vists is fantastic, I used it to login and fill in passwords for me so a keylogger doesnt catch my typing!

  • This will not download in iTunes but it does however appear.

  • I forgot the name of the program but anyways it changes your password every time you log off and gives you the password before finishing the log off, it is customizable to how long the password is.

  • I cant wait till they make them as a sercuity device so i can pretend to be james bond

  • whats with all the god dam ads, quit exploiting the shit out of utube

  • Fingerprint access to the OS along with fingerprint+password enabled data encryption is the way to go. Easy to configure and fairly rock solid as far as security goes.

  • mythbusters went throgh those fingerprint things with a wet peice of paper with a fingerprint printed on it with a normal printer. at that point i was just lmao. fingerprint scaners suck

  • i encrypt my data and them i lost it all

  • why is it so good having first commnet!??!?

  • there was a movie about it on the internet, where a guy made it an art. it was pretty good. since then, i've seen a lot of comments that have said first.

  • i know but, whats the point doesnt mean its a special comment, o well thanks for responding

  • well it's like getting the first piece of cake. it's not the best piece piece of cake, it tastes the same as all the other pieces, it's just the idea of getting the first piece. it's the idea of greatness, for breaking a threshold that was seemingly sealed off by it's own presence.

  • ok, but you have to admit a wee bit annoying.

  • of course
