I do not know, how much you know about the WW2, but you can find the date: "19th march 1944" in Wikipedia: "1944 – World War II: Nazi forces occupy Hungary."

Even before this time the Nazis demanded allways rules against the Jews. After this time the Nazis told, who should be in the government.
