I would like to know if this equip. can take a gear from a differential and bore a hole with a built in key. I have a citicar and want to install a modern 3ph motor and controls. The motor frame is standard 56c but the input gear is a splined 13/16 in. bore. and the 3ph motor is 7/8 shaft with 3/16 key. my question is can it be bored to the new size and leave material in the bore as a key.
