Police officers such as these like to feel like they're better than the rest of society, just because they have a badge, taser and neat haircut. Cops are faced with life threatening situations everyday and are trained to stay alive at the academy. Even if he was JUST a kid on a skateboard... who's to know 100% he didn't have a knife or a weapon of his own. Cops are meant to inforce the law, some go overboard, but when your told to do something by a law enforcer, and you resist, that's resisting the law, a.k.a. your taken to jail.

Well when they place you under arrest you have two choices, to comply or not to comply. It used to be that if you didn't comply you would get your attitude tuned up with a piece of oak. Now there is a much more humane alternative that actually hurts a lot more but doesn't breeak you into little pieces. Thanks be to Ben Franklin and his successors, now you only get to scream like a bitch while you get arrested instead of getting pounded into a paste.
Finally someone that gets it. Moral of the story, if you don't resist arrest and force them to take physical means against you, you won't have to get tazed. When a cop tells you to do something, do it or you're a moron that deserves to be tazed. This taser thing is out of control. Part of a police officer's job is to deal with people that may not be co-operative. Just because someone gives them a dirty look is no excuse for all these constant taserings. i had 2 cops tailing me for an hour downtown yesterday. when i asked them why, the told me, "Probable cause, fuckhead." probable cause meaning i had a leather jacket and a shirt with a skull on it. a friend of mine got taken in to the station because he stood close to a display in a shop while he had a spiked wrist band on. the cop on duty assumed he was shoplifting, and arrested him. there are people out there who actually believe this shit, don't joke about it.

This is true. Pause the video at 1:26 and you will see the CVC section that prohibits skating at SDSU. Just becuase a law is loosly inforced does not mean you can do it anyway.

I would like to tell that dude to grow the fuck up. Yes, dick move by the police to tell him to get off the skateboard but completely justified within the law....there is an ordinance that says "no skateboarding," probably because people have been injured before or the area is abused. The clip is cut short just as one officer describes the suspect as "very combative." Skate anywhere else you want but not in an area where it's banned, and don't complain when you resist and get taken down.

i had 2 cops tailing me for an hour downtown yesterday. when i asked them why, the told me, "Probable cause, fuckhead." probable cause meaning i had a leather jacket and a shirt with a skull on it. a friend of mine got taken in to the station because he stood close to a display in a shop while he had a spiked wrist band on. the cop on duty assumed he was shoplifting, and arrested him. there are people out there who actually believe this shit, don't joke about it.
