  • Also note that the cables coming from one end of the table should encounter the rollerparellel to the table edge; as the cable rolls up it moves either inboard or outboard.. so the attachments at the other end need to be inboard or outboard respectively so that when the cable rolls it doesnt overlap as it's doing now.

  • first raise the fixed cable attachments at the table to the same hight a where they encounter the roller; that's why it's rising at the end.

    Try letting the cable encounter the roller on the bottomcoming from one end of the table ant from the top coming from the other end of the table.this will require fixed table attachments of different heights at each table end respectively

    Also use an eye bolt tensioning mechanism to keep the cable tight. See my video on my home made slabroller.

  • I think if you mounted a track system (like your drawers at home), instead of the wheels might offer better stability for the base. You might also try just using less wire and more tension, try to keep the coils straight?
