Why the fuck are these people getting money?

Here's my proposal, we line up every grease-nosed fuck getting these "subsidies" and everyone that supports them along a wall and shoot them in the fucking head. See how much money that saves us. It'll save us some greedy pieces of horse shit too.

They're getting money because they were promised it by the federal government. they paid into FICA their entire life as a form of social insurance. the same goes for social security.

this IS NOT a form of redistribution, the tax is actually regressive. the real tragedy has been occuring for years, the less money you make the more you pay in.

A change of this kind would mean taking medicare and social security from social insurance, to an extension of social welfare.

Let's get into this situation. Medicare costs a huge amount of money for the government so they print money to pay for it. This fucks the economy and because of the devaluation of the dollar means that even the printed money wont help Medicare. So everyone is broke with a horrible, short life.

The prices in the US, compared to Denmark, for the same meds is 2x to 10x as high; mainly because of lack of competition (so much for capitalism). 60 Minutes did a piece on this a few years ago.

Mainly that lack of competition has to do with government programs that keep it out like not letting you buy out of state health insurance.

The issue is that meds in the rest of the world are cheap. Why the pharma companies can rape the people of this country with their prices is insane. Especially the elderly. :(

we afre paying 4 times what we should for the health care we receive (US is 37th in the world).

Single payer, non profit, 3% overhead and then we will be paying 25% what we do now. Even if we wanted to be number 1, we would pay 50% what we pay now.

Medicare is broke. It has to be cut. You cannot raise taxes enough to pay for it.
