i have a calico telescope goldfish, he's really creepy becuase his eyes are HUGE and he lost an eyeball so its suppppper weird but on the bright side i dont have a hard time catching him with a net to put him somewhere else while cleaning his tank becuase i can sneak up on him ;)
I guess one of the plant is Java Fern but Wat plants r the rest and how r they surviving goldfish cuz goldfish likes to nibble on plants.anyways ur tank looks so beautiful n clear...caomparing ur tank wid mine is like jumping into HD TV after watching Normal color TV. lol
You're right, there are java fern plants in there. I also have anubias plants. My goldfish leave these types of plants alone for the most part. Supposedly java fern isn't very tasty to them, and the anubias leaves are too big for them to eat.
Just beautiful!! How do you get your water so clear? Is it because you don't have any gravel? I just started a small 29 gallon tank and as a new tank owner I just put my fish in a couple of hours after filling the tank up (a mixter of different kinds of goldfish) Now I am regreting it, my water is so cloudy, and I trying to fix it,and I know I overcrowded my tank. I should have investigated more before throwing myself as an expert. I would love to upgrade to a bigger tank.
Thanks! My water is so clear because I have a massive UV sterilizer on the tank. It sounds like you have your work cut out for you! Technically you should only keep 2 goldfish in that 29 gallon tank, so if you returned some to the store it would be a lot easier on you. :)
Thank you! I feed them a home-made gel food. If you visit my video called "Butterfly Telescopes Eating Gel Food", you can see my recipe in the video description area. I also feed them de-shelled peas once a week.

@usermee
They're just large river rocks from the craft store, and the plants are tied on with fishing line.
