  • this song give me hope <3

  • Beautiful clip with wonderful scenes from Pre-Raphaelites painters. They really go well together.

  • @Maxiclaudi prerafaelistas? do you need to read more about art history. Victorian isn´t prerafaelista

  • @VITOLLFOTOGRAFIA There are most certainly some paintings by Pre-Raphaelites and I have read and learned a lot more about art history than you, check out your library!

  • @Maxiclaudi I,m sorry ,feel you have reason, in my country "prerafaelista" wants to say; previous to Rafael, but now I understand that you refer to the group "prerrafaelistas"

  • @VITOLLFOTOGRAFIA This is the group of painters I referred to, thanks for acknowledging. I realise it's a bit of a mix-up, some pictures are by the Pre-Raphaelites (i.e. Edward Burne Jones, Dante Gabriel Rossetti et al, but some are by other Victorian painters. Still, you know where my penchant lies.

  • Amazing. You did your homework. Beautiful composition.

  • This is a BEAUTIFUL song. I totally love it.

  • Wonderful music, love the Pre Raphaelites too ; )

  • Her voice is not perfect, but Jocelyn, you are truely an ARTIST!

  • Beautiful song. Love the movie and the soundtrack.

  • O.O Anyone know where the artwork is? Most of those would be a great desktop pic! Incredible song! Actually wish it was longer.

  • @onikuma25 They are mostly John William Waterhouse paintings. Great Victorian artist, definitely one of my favourites.

  • @Shelidon Thank you, thank you(^_^)

  • I love Jocelyn!

  • Ben Crawley is absolutely amazing in this song...and to think he sounded that good while his voice was changing! He was truly one of the best soloists of Libera!

  • i hear that, too. his voice was changing as he sang that, he has problems here with the high notes. but it´s wonderful.

  • 1:10 i just love the painting.

anybody knows where i can find it or at least who painted it?

  • @OoLoulitaoO It's the 'Enchanted Garden' by Waterhouse.

    Cela me plait ... merci.

  • Very beautiful! Many of the pictures are by John William Waterhouse, one of my favorite painters.

  • I'm sorry, I should've never put myself down to your level, there is no reasoning with beasts.

  • The vocalist is actually Ben Crawley of Libera.

  • Thank you for your comment but I have seen live video of Haley Westenra and I exclusively own the sound track CD of the movie The Merchant of Venice which I bought from Borders for $19.99 + Tax. I also spent 37minutes on studying the biography and dicography of this New Zealander singer.

  • ??? I don't know if I understand what you are saying. I have the soundtrack too, and it credits many singers for the different tracks. Hayley only sings on one track "Bridal Ballad." "Ben Crawley" is credited for "Song for Bassanio." This doesn't sound anything like Hayley, because it is, in fact, a 16 year old boy.

  • It was all mixed up and you are right the voice is of "Ben Crawley" I apologize for the incorrect information I had.

  • No way! I love Libera, and thought the sound was just that of an equally talented boy. I can't get over how beautiful the vocals are <3

  • Bona música, bona veu

  • Obrigada por postar essa música tão apaixonante e delicada.

  • Estupenda canción y espectacular sonido

  • hi ben whot a voice derek combe martin devon

  • Is this a boy or a woman, singing the song? It sounds like the voice of one of the libera boys choir lads

  • Good guess. This is former Libera soloist Ben Crawley when he was 16, shortly before his voice broke.

  • nice video

  • What's the name/artist attached to the painting at 1:05?

  • By the style of the paintings I see in the whole video so far, I would say Dante Gabriel Rossetti, John Everett Millais or Edward Burne-Jones.

  • The image shown from 1:00 to 1:05 is Psyche, by William Waterhouse. The one shown from 1:06 to 1:10 is Angel of Death, by Evelyn De Morgan.

  • I love this song!!!
