It's so not out of date that it defies 90% of what is currently out of alignment in regard to civil liberties today. Where government has run the gamut of unconstitutional acts from the Patriot Act/NDAA/foreign policy/the Fed, it's only the Constitution that calls these acts into question. We'd otherwise have nothing to gauge these nefarious acts against.
