It was an end of a musical era in pop music, transitioning into R&B and hip-hop. It was tough for artists like Debbie, seeing that their type if music is dawning to an end.
Today our art teacher played music while we were doing our art. He played this song, and he said he loved it because it was so playful and also because one day, when he was listening the radio, someone dedicated this song to their boyfriend who died in a car crash a few days ago, and they said they wished he could hear it.

Which of course, as nerdy teen growing up, listening most of Top 40's, we would be eagerly waiting for the next music videos coming up!. U heard the songs on radion, and then U gotta see the videos! We were eternally 4eve indebtful grateful for the generosity of TV3 effort, as it was alwayz made my days!
I love Debbie Gibson's songs since I was 10 or 11 y.o. They sound more original and carry meaningful text, compared with today's songs by Lady Gaga etc.
