Third, all Muslim countries pretty much have the death penalty and have at one time or another used it- but it was almost always politically rather than religiously motivated. Iran and Saudi Arabia are the only 2 that enforce it today. And it is only used for those who revoke Islam or homosexuals. Third, no one is killed for committing adultery. The laws are there but even in Saudi, theyre never enforced. If they are, then they are enforced by relatives and extended family and what not.

Fifth, you brought up Israel. Israel teaches the Torah and the Talmud to its little kids on much more fanatical basis in schools than Islam is taught anywhere else in the Middle East. The exceptions are, again, Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Nowadays anyone who blindly uses that term automatically has their arguments undermined. Genocide and terror are two different things. The middle east has a lot of terrorists, but no genocides. Eighth, I have NEVER heard of any ME government forcing people into crowded houses. That would be Kim Il Sungs North Korea or Khmer Rouge Cambodia youre thinking about. Not the middle East. What about Smoking? Well Middle Easterners are among the heaviest smokers in the world. Smoking isnt banned anywhere. Thats just ridiculous. And finally, as for drinking, although it is banned in most countries in the ME, people dont drink in public. But they can easily get access to alcohol.

In fact, in some countries its really easy to get alcohol: Syria, Turkey (secular states), Lebanon (multi-sectarian state), Tunisia (this country even has nudist beaches) etc.
