  • I would love the tabs to just about everything you're playing here. :) It's a little above my level, but it's exactly the kind of sound I like to try for. No worries if it's not do-able, but would be awesome!

  • @Kaijunjiru Thanks. I am still trying to find a software that would transpose my playing into tabs live. Subscribe to my channel and you won't miss it. Cheers!

  • What program did u use to record the sounds with the apex 180?

  • @vfan4123 Apple Logic 8 pro through Mbox2

  • wow!

    that K&K pickup is awesome!

  • what the battery life like? how many hourswill the battery last?

  • @RinkyWinkleton I only use pickup when playing live so it's hard to tell, especially that I mostly use it to record.

  • @UBBaby09 I should definitely look into it then as I've had some feedback problems when playing live. Thanks again.

  • @UBBaby09 Thank you :-). Thanks for your recommendation (although it could sound better) but I'll stick with what I have.

  • I think k&k sounds more acoustic...

  • @SuperGuitarAssassin I'd have to disagree. Nothing beats mic setup. K&K sounds definitely more synthetic but it's a great pickup anyways.

  • what are your eq and gain settings on the k&k?

  • @undercoveridiot actually my K&K pickup doesn't have EQ, I found it sounding the best in the center volume position, I guess that's 0. When playing live sometimes I boost it during the solo.

  • does K&k have something like a hi & low mic condenser and undersaddle pick up combined like the truetone sound m7?

  • @jograd08 actually mine does not, but I believe Trinity system has this option. K&K it's just a straight forward under bridge (3 sensor) pickup.

  • is this the mini or the standard

  • @flatpikinguitar STANDARD

  • Damn that pickup is nice, what did it cost you ?

  • @Annonymus121 It cost me ar. $250 + installation fee

  • Thank you for good comparison. I wonder if they both work with percussion sound. Will they pick up the percussion on the body of the guitar? Thanks

  • @kapooktu good question, I have no idea myself but K&K pickups seem to be really sensitive for percussion stuff.

  • THANKS A LOT GUYS! I find using MIC&DI at the same time works great with big body acoustics, lower frequencies are way more clear.

  • That was a very thoughtful review.. excellent comparison.. I'm not sure what you were striving for w/ the K&K- but if it was "mic'ed like sound".. I'd say you hit a home run I'm impressed.

  • that apex mic is sure hard to beat for the money---great job!

  • Rewelka! Na jakich strunach to nagrales

  • @Smolki35 Wielkie dzieki, struny to Elixir Medium Phosphor Bronze.

  • How do you record both at the same time? D:

  • @Killdozer6006 Yep, both at the same time, I find the best mic spot having 2 tracks record enabled. I think it works not bad, lower frequencies are much easier to handle, no buzz.

  • Yeah, but what program do you use?

  • @Killdozer6006 You can do it pretty much with any recording software, I use Logic.

  • LUNATYCY : ]

  • really nice ^^
