  • just awesome... proper musicians! rubys voice is the icing on the cake.... just amazing :)

  • You must see Jools Holland and the Band live. I've been going every year over 20 years now, fantastic.

  • What a frigen awesome version of this song!! Ruby is amazing and the band was awesome. I accidently came across it after listen to Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Perkins version on Johhny Cash's Xmas show on here and couldnt stop listening to it! Jigged to this all day!

  • When I saw her live, and in videos on youtube, it often seemed as thought she were holding something back. She never quite 'went to church' in the way that say Jocelyn Brown does. This performance is the exception, and she really releases all the valves!

  • I wish all his Hootenanny past and present did come on CD and DVD.

  • you could run the x factor for 200 years mr cowell but you aint never gonna find talent like this

  • Nice bit of rubato to reflect the movement of the train. I'm getting into academic music mode again...¬.¬

  • Thanks Dave!

I must have watched this about a hundred times now and am singing it all day!! lol great stuff! Thanks! :-) Lee

  • is there a slight chatanooga choo choo from the horns in there?

  • Indeed there is!

  • This is one of the best tracks u do i love it!

  • Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!

    Wonderful voice and stage presence.

  • Magical, first class work from everyone involved and Ruby's performance is simply on another level. What an amazing thing to see world class musicians connect like that. Makes me smile inside and out every time I hear this version!

  • amazing, say them all live on the i.o.w recently, they did this song, was great.

  • Who's the guy with the stickers on his forehead who looks like he's about to asphyxiate himself with the party decorations?

Too many stiff whities in this show.

  • I love this song I saw her in York at The York Theature Royal She had the whloe place jumping and ther whole concert was amazing she has an amazing voice. At the end I was so lucky because I got to meet Ruby Turner and I had a little chat with her and got her autograph and she gave me a hug and she called me darling . And when she was on stage she waved to me , winked at me and smiled at me. I hope Ruby comes to York again soon. Love you forever and I always will Ruby Turner your a diva xxxxxx

  • Love the changing tempos in this song, really does sound like a train, lololol...! I was home (alone) for the first time in about eight years (I'm a 23 year old man) - I had twelve beers, a bag of weed, a chicken curry, and the TIME OF MY FUCKING LIFE! Watched Hootenanny all night long, did not stop dancing, and I've got to say, though the whole show was wicked, this was probably the highlight. A real, feelgood, get-the-fuck-up-and-dance-song. Ruby's awesome. Amazing voice. Mental charisma. ^_^

  • I love this song so much. I love Ruby Turner so much she rocks. I love her voice it's so powerful and soulful. She is a diva the queen of soul. I am getting her album soon called I'm Traveling On . It has this song on. I may be seeing her on Friday 5th of Feb in York can't wait it will be a cool concert if the tickets aren't sold out. To see Ruby in concert and to meet her would be a dream come true. I saw this on TV was dancing the whloe time. Love you forever and I always will Ruby Turner xxx

  • ALL ABOARDDDDD

    BING BING

  • Ruby Turner is absolute dynamite. When she sings, the joint jumps. Played this at the concert in Glasgow and the joint was on its feet jumpin' the whole time. Awesome

  • Love it! Looking (and sounding) good Dave. x
