is Brett Favre really done with football? can any team really take back a legendary player that had a bad habit of throwing interceptions? find out next time on dragonball z.
Favre... you gave us many good Years as a quarterback and regardless of anything that happened with your carrier after the green bay packers you will ALWAYS be I'm our hearts in green bay, from the touchdowns to the interceptions..... YOU will AWLAYS be our friend and In MY childhood memories as the greatest quarterback
the gbp"s ever had......
I hope you never forget this.... You are a gbp
Nomatter what jersey you choose to put on.
I know your heart is filled with cheese and green and yell
@mjaku91 it really disgusts me. I'm from Green Bay, born n raised, and up until 2008, Favre was the only QB I've known to start a game as a Packer n for some Packer fans to turn on him like they did makes me so mad because it is well known that Packer fans are the best fans n for some of them to say they hate a Green Bay Packer legend makes me sick because that is not who we are as fans. It makes me really mad cuz I know they will cheer for him when his number is retired n he goes in the HOF
He's still great. The Vikings just suck. Look at them. Their offensive line can't block, their receivers can't catch, their coaches can't manage games, and Adrian Peterson's great rushing averages are based on a couple great runs mixed with 2 yard gains. Nobody could play well with those imbeciles. Poor McNabb is gonna slide in the idiotic public opinion because of them too.
@mjaku91 What he did for the game? You mean disrespect the aspect of Team loyalty? For making retirment a joke? He didn't do anything. Breaking records is easy when you play as long as he did. What has he done that every other player hasn't done?
@Stefandurrr I know its not hard to do those things. Thats what Im saying. I don't know why you think Im retarded when you just simply stated what I said.
@Stefandurrr If you're going to make it sound hard for one player, than you have to say its hard for every player. You are making it sound like Brett Favre changed the sport itself. He didn't. There are many records in sports held by players that never got the regognition they deserved. Yet Favre plays for 20 years where of course he will break records, and is herolded as the greatest ever. Yes he was good, but not the greatest.
@Ned8963 why do you think? Because I like seeing brett favre retire. oh and what excellent vocabulary for the word retard. Did you have to use the dictionary? I know those words can be hard to use...
@MegaLlamalord how many have done it as well as he has? ZERO, he owns every record. That's seriously like saying anybody can hit a tennis ball or anybody can swing a club or anybody can sing and that is saying these guys aren't talented which they are. Favre isn't just the typical NFL QB, he is 5 years away from the hall of fame, something where only a few hundred players are in.
@WarEagle140 you just validated my point. Hundreds of players are in the hall of fame. And one of those records he holds is most interceptions of all time.
@MegaLlamalord are you retarded? hundreds of thousands of players have played in the NFL and less than 250 are in the Hall of Fame. Do the math, that is a tiny, TINY percentage of players who make it. And yes he has most interceptions but so what? he has every other record as well as most wins.
@WarEagle140 once again, its easy to do that when you play as long as he does. He doesn't know when to quit. the average good player plays 10-15 years maximum. Oh and lets not forget his off field behavior while he was on the Jets. He is a disgrace to the sport. He had a chance a few years ago to go out a hero but he tarnished that legacy by coming back again and again and again.
@MegaLlamalord you're retarded, look at all the great QB's n see how long they played. He also broke those records in his 16th year as a Packer so don't act like he broke all those records in his 20th season. All the great QBs played over 15+ years. Marino played 16 Elway played 16 Montana played 17 Starr played 16 Unitas played 17-19 seasons. Also, they never proved Favre did anything in NY. He was great for the game, ask any NFL expert. he can still play so why should he have quit in 07?
@WarEagle140 You dodged my statement about his off field behavior. Im sorry if you think he is actually a respectable person, but hes not. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you can move on in life
@MegaLlamalord read my post again and then tell me I dodged your statement about his off the field behavior. and what does off the field behavior have to do with being able to play amazing like he did? Whether or not you like Favre or not doesn't take away what he did on the field. He was amazing, one of the best if not the best. I ABSOLUTELY HATE Michael Vick for what he did, but I still think he is a great athlete, I just cheer against him but I give him credit when he does an amazing play
@MegaLlamalord Vick was proven guilty, Favre was not. w/ technology these days anybody can fake a call like that n make it sound like anybody theres software that can do that. Jenn just wanted money n didn't get it so she did that. Kinda suspicious that those allegations came out the week before the Vikings played the Jets huh, especially seeing it was 2 years after he was a Jet and the vikes just picked up Moss. you guys fucking suck!!!!..he did more then what any quarterback did in a long long time.... he won a superbowl..and couldve won 2 more if it werent for bad luck...he played 297 consecutive games??...and you say he sucks..how many guys can say "yeah if i wanted too i can beat that record"...cause they cant...he probably wasnt the most gifted quarterback but he worked real hard and he was the toughest quarterback we had of all time if anything in our time
Hahaha! We got you good this time Brett! Good luck coming back during the lockout! Seriously though, I wish I got to see him win his Superbowl though. I have been a Packers fan all my life, but was only 2 when he won it. Luckily I got to see Aaron win it. As for the Vikings, Fuck You! Ahahahaha!
@JohnQRandom "On top" in regards to his career in terms of age. I could respect a man that retired after last season (even with the poor performances) in comparison to this year. I've never been a fan, but at least "falling short" is more on top than scandals, injuries, ego, and helping to cause a franchise fall apart.

Thank you Brett for giving the Vikings some hope. Ive always been a fan of you even when you were on Green Bay. You will never again see a QB like Brett. Ever......
He's pretty much the last athlete left from his era. (Troy Aikman, Barry Sanders, Herman Moore,Emmett Walsh,Steve Young,Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith and John Randle etc) I say this cause I started really paying attention in 1991 so for me he is retiring as an end of an era. Also there is no doubt that he is finished, He kinda went out the way Rocky almost did in Rocky V.
Dejavu!!! I had much love and respect for you before you retired the first time. I will always have respect for the bret b4 that time. The bret after can take a leap as he turned into a drama queen!!
Let those without sin cast the first stone. I think he is a great athlete. He does have his own charity that does good things. He has sinned. So have we all. He has also done some great things. Good luck in retirement Brett. Thanks for the great memories. Respectfully. GZ
No matter what team you cheer for, you have to admit that Brett Favre is one of the best NFL quarterbacks of all time and definitely the toughest. The controversies of this last season will be forgotten in time. In 5 years, Favre will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and people will always remember his love for the game, his broken records, and the excitement he brought throughout his career in the NFL. Thank you, Brett, for your dedication to the NFL during the past 20 years.
i'm a bengals fan but brett favre is one of my favorite individual players the bengals highlight of the 90s was brett favre playing his first game as a packer against them...he is one of the greatest players that has ever played the game
Love him or love to hate him, he made watching football fun and entertaining. The NFL lost one of the greatest today, regardless of many people's perception regarding his ego or indecisiveness. I feel lucky to have watched him beat up on my favorite teams over the years. Enjoy retirement #4!
Favre is the reason why i became a Packers fan,he was so great for the game,The 20 years that i have been going for the green and gold i never had to worry about Favre not playing in a game no matter how hurt he was,He would go out on the field if he was missing a limb,You cant question his toughness,The toughest QB ever to play the position

Love him or love to hate him, he made watching football fun and entertaining. The NFL lost one of the greatest today, regardless of many people's perception regarding his ego or indecisiveness. I feel lucky to have watched him beat up on my favorite teams over the years. Enjoy retirement #4!
