  • k rating video games according to their bad effects

1.War games about present day, present countries, because they include killing humans AND they inject political bias in your head, influencing your decisions.

2.War games about old days, because they include killing humans. and they have bias

    3. Ancient wars, they have no bias, but you still kill humans

4.futuristic monster slaying and ancient monster slaying.

5.chess (you still kill people in it! Or at least capture them... JK)

  • 0:24 - 0:35 And thats why I'm gonna survive the zombie apocalypse

  • What's he doing with furious's honey???

  • There is a difference between singleplayer and multiplayer I think

On single player or Co-op mode, you can relief anger and adapt your team skills

But on multiplayer you get angry because of other players killing you

Mush like driving doen't make you angry, but the traffic does

  • why is there a thing of urine on shelf above the laptop in the background?

  • underbar.

  • SIDE BOOB

  • teeeeeeeeeheheh i saw you girlfreinds side booob ....very nice teheh

  • I saw a tittie!

  • the video went blank and i got pissed and then i was like wow!

  • wow, cool, can we like watch the whole thing next time

  • lol this intro was badassss

  • Personally I think parents use Violence in Video games as an excuse not to buy them and to save money.

  • @OneWingBoss Or to blame them when their bad parenting leads their offspring into psychopathic monkey murderers.

  • when i kill people in games or basecamping i actually feel sad

  • @magition74 I watched all the original alien and predator movies when i was 6 , and started playing games like counterstrike when i was 13 , havnt done anythin remotely as violent as stuff in the movies or games and never will .

  • im a pre big computer gamer and imo if kids that play cod and those types of games and who arnt over atleast 10.. they would have a higher chance of doing something like robbing a store or something.. becasue their brains cant comprehend that its only ment for fun.. and if you do this stuff inrl u get in shit like lets say in a game u rob a store.. to people over 10 its like.. we wouldnt do this.. and its a game.. but people under 10 or so would be like.. wow thats a good idea i need money

  • Omg =O a great video and side boob?! Awesome =D

  • I will now always watch all of your videos to the very end.

  • there's a girl getting naked in the background of the video right now! :D

  • i cant push like or subscribe =(

  • I played Wolfenstein 3D when I was... 12, I think :D But Duke, Quake and HL kicked ass. I spent YEARS making maps, mods and websites for them! I'm giving you a point for liking these games! :P

  • We are trying to conceal our instincts but they still show up through different forms of art, entertainment, natural resource conflicts, ideological, political conflicts etc.

  • For 100's of 1000's of years violence was an essential part of human life. We had to kill to eat and survive. We had to kill to not get eaten and hance also survive. In modern life humans have dominated the Earth and for the last few thousand years there's been no real enemy for this species but our primal instincts still exist and force us to express them. NOT being violent is an unnatural state for humans!

  • DEAD SPACE

  • what do you think happens to someones consciousness after death? Does it just completely stop? I'd love to hear your POV on this

  • Video games don't make you violent because even if the action you do in the games look violent, in real you'r just pushing few buttons on a keyboard and clicking with your mouse. And that is even less violent that killing an ant...

  • I really agree with you

  • First and only pair of tits most of the people who watch this video will ever see

  • I've played violent games all my life and still do, heck i even recall playing the now banned Rockstar game Manhunt when i was 7, and that game was basically being a mass murderer for fun. Video games have no major effect on you, unless there was already an underlying problem, however i do agree that they can influence certain more minor behaviors, like if you play Saints Row a lot you may swear more, playing it a lot however wont make you a mass murderer gangster, without the underlying issue.

  • you're intelligent enough to make the distinction between reality and videogames but there are some pretty dumb people out there that can't.

  • video games dont make kids violent, lag does

  • @howyudern wurddddd

  • @howyudern Lmao :DD

  • When I was six I wanted to be a ninja mortal kombat did not make me violent just meent the I tried to doulde of my stair case when i was 9 brake my arm =]

  • I've been playing cod and big game hunter and socom and games like that for years and the other day I couldn't shoot a seagul with a bb gun point blank btw really like Ur videos

  • violent video games =/= violence but imo LOSING (in any game doesnt even have to be violent) can lead to nerd rage thus violence ex. Smashed keyboards

  • Tobacco companys should hire you to make their products look harmless

  • Just mentioning, that this vlog can be used well on debates about the recent norvegian shooting. Some state, that the video games were in connection with the guy going postal.

  • I grow up on Gta vice city,But I am Disgusted by Saw movie and Blood :\

  • You don't offer a porno movie to a child, then you don't offer him a GTA game.

  • Dean , did you know that their partly blaming video games and tv shows (specifically Dexter) for the recent events in Norway , they say that neighbors of the man responsible reported him being interested in violent video games ....

  • "did you get him back to michelle fabulous idea people who think they're perfectly harmless separates lions somewhere in the middle but i would be a a gene more towards the perfectly harmless site immediate only valid claims it can..."

    0:15 - 0:25

    YouTube Audio Caption

  • video games do have some affect on certain people. my younger brother for example was prone to lashing out and fighting with me after playing SmackDown vs Raw for a few hours and i had a 3 year and 7 stone weight advantage. he probably thought the little guy could beat the bigger guy after doing it on the game, and he also cursed in every sentence after playing GTA San Andreas whereas they never affected me, so perhaps the age restrictions should be heeded when buying games for kids

  • saggy titties

  • If games have a big influence on violent behaviors, Then movies/documentairies also should have the same effect.. So if they want to ban those games, they also should consider banning documentairies on DiscoveryChannel and other channels

  • Video games don't make people violent

    Lag does

  • You know, the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni actually made me want to brutally kill someone more so than any video game.

  • you're right, I've played violent video games since I was 7 years old and they haven't affected me in any way, my psychosis comes from my family and myself lol a lot of messed up people in my family

I gotta admit I'm a pretty messed up guy, but I learned to control myself recently & in fact games have helped me in that quest, everytime I'm pissed off I just go to CoD or GTA and start nonsense massacres xD I used to be a pretty messed up kid tho, I slaughtered a parrot that bit me when I was 5 :|

  • dude you sooo got a boner when she sat on you ;) ya shh

  • DFTBA

  • Omg @ back ground.

  • People who think that many video games cause violence, do you also think the same about films where many people get killed such as Kick Ass?

I don't think there is a correlation between real life and video game violence. I played GTA when I was 7 and it hasn't affected me. I play Call of Duty regularly now and it doesn't affect me. I would never physically hurt someone, in fact I almost cried the other day when I thought I ran over a hedgehog! Luckily I hadn't - I went back and checked.

  • I COMPLETELY agree with you. Either they have a violent past, or had a screw loose in their head regardless of the video game.

  • It's not about how violent a video game is. It is about how fast it extinguishes your excitement. CoD is blamed because you're having fun, having fun, "OMG GONNA KILL HIMMM, >.> nope. fml"

The Excitement gets built up, and then it is transferred into rage. These games are fun because they cause emotion. That is the same reason they are bad.

  • TITTS!

  • Music's also blamed.... It's stupid

  • Two channels.... Two completely different personality. ..... Interesting O.o

  • I really do believe you're right here. I more associated this idea with movies and rock/metal music than video games, but they're equally applicable. If a game sells millions of copies, and one or two people commit horrific crimes seemingly inspired by the game, the game's hardly at fault. If it is in fact the game's intention to cause such violence, it's clearly not doing a very good job if there are only isolated incidents!

  • You said a swear!

  • why does your girlfriend always have wet hair your videos?

  • is that you girlfriend in the end of the video changing?

  • Now I'm confused, who ARE you?!

  • I play gta but have strong bad feeling about shooting cops. Cuz they people, even tho they wanna take you out. :(

  • I saw OGFurious 1st....after that..i cant take these videos seriously lol :DD

  • boobs.

  • Dude You are the freaking best, but I want to ask do you still hang with Chiren?you guys were freaking awesome

  • Watch The Video Until The Last Second!!!!!! No Joke, just do it :)

  • @16MrMattie you made my day

  • @16MrMattie i didnt regret following your advice!

  • @16MrMattie Thank you.

  • These are some really cool intros but I miss your BOOYAH! Can you do it every once in a while?

  • plz run for parliament or world leader!

  • I agree with you, I like a good violent video game. Lol even in the sims it was one of my favourite past times to find new and interesting ways to kill them off. In GTA I'd get bored and ignore the missions to go on a killing spree.

But I'm not a violent person. In fact I'm actually scared of seeing real life injuries.. even injuries that are very minor.

It's too easy to just blame video games for the minority of peoples behaviour. Just as it's too easy to blame certain types of music.

  • Amazing you have great points and dont worry im not a violent gun slinger...

  • To be fairly honest, violent video games could also be an outlet for all the frustration and anger some people have within them instead of cropping it up and then "exploding" into a rage. Afterall, it is safer killing people in a video game than killing people in real life.

I also had to write a paper about this, in which I said that most studies only look for the link between A and Z, and do not consider everything in between, such as bad parenting, bad friends, etc

  • also, WHAT ARE YOU DOIN WITH FURIOUS's GIRL!

  • But Dean, do you know for real how you would react seeing someone get shoot, or is it how you would imagine that you would react?

  • I actually wrote a paper about this very subject for my psychology class, and you pretty much gave the same answers I got. Sometimes people with violent tendencies can be attracted towards violent video games, but then again so can people without. Therefore I have no point.

  • It also has a lot to do with intelligence. Some dumbass is more likely to do something he did in GTA

  • How can you dislike any of his videos.

  • 10 people are crazy killers

  • i aggree

  • Here's what I got from this Vid...

If you played video games like this since you were six, there is a good chance that you will develop an alter-ego as a shirtless gansta pickup artist named furious.

  • well, i find it rather strange that they blame videogames for violence, even tho 95% of the western males play video games and don't shoot people... i highly doubt people like fritzl or dutroux both played dungeon keeper and these are probaly 2 of the sickest people out there

  • thumbs up for glass of orange :D

  • I loved you

    And then you were French!!!

    I'm joking

  • Been playing violent video-games all my life. I'll even admit I have an unhealthy addiction to video-games as a way of escaping real-life stress, and horror games (which are primarily very violent) are among my favorite ways to distract me from the world. All that said - in my non-gaming life I am an avid pacifist and when I see people even yelling at eachother I start to breakdown - if I see an actual fight break out I DO breakdown. Love your videos, agree completely with this one.

  • Like a "poll", yeah we know what pole you are talking about.

  • just subscribed to both your channels. keep up the good work!

  • well hey when i was only 16 i played gears of war sooo... kinda got you beat haha. oh hey i think you should do a video on masculinity and how it relates to gus wanting a big truck... yessah.

  • I fully agree to your statements in the video and this has been my opinion for as long as I can remember. I mean, it's a upgrade from pit fights in the Colosseum don't you think?

  • Here in the Netherlands there was a guy around his twenties who shot 6 people dead at a shopping mall in April. They found out he played Call of Duty, so you can imagine that people were freaking out about those kind of games. But so many people play Call of Duty or something else violent but they don't pick up a gun and go around shooting people.

So Dean's right, as always, that there must be an underlying cause first.

  • dude based on all your videos we have the same way of thinking and same opinions too :P

  • I just looked through my games after watching this, and about 8% of the ones I own (read: own, not play. That number would be lower.) are not inherently violent. It's generally been that way for as long as I can remember, going back to quake, doom, and half life, and I have a whole 0 murders under my belt. This doesn't disprove the theory, but come on...

  • Violent video games don't make people murderers, murderers just like playing violent video games.

  • you played agressive videogames, and you became a gangsta!!!

  • i was 8 when i first played doom and after that i moved on to quake doom unreal tornament and american mcgees alice..as you said some of the most violent games but most of thoses arnt as realist as todays games .... tho tbh i still dont think that will make u a asbo child or a phyco... as long as the child is old enought to disginguest reality from a game its all good!

  • People allways try to proof that videogames will make you more violant, and every time they do, it gets into the newspaper like (New research started to proof videogames make you violant). EVERY test turned out not te make you more violent, but they never put that into the newspapers.....

  • very smart opinion

  • Not only are people blowing up the whole "violent games cause real violence" issue, they're also forgetting that video games probably prevent violence. There are loads of people (including me) who find peace in videogames. There's no better cure for a bad mood (or anger) than to pick up a controller and be someone else for a while to calm you down.

  • i m tired to hear you man...

  • thumbs up cause you look like kurt cobain

  • Dude where do you live? i would like to meet you! i'm from argentina and im planning a roadtrip through Europe... at least have a "mate", or cofee w/e

I always liked your thoughts, and mine are pretty similar too.

  • Hot girl!

  • did anyone else watch the video long enough to see the girl getting naked in the background.

  • @tundraman217 dude she is standing with her back to the screen talk again if u c her front :P

  • @tundraman217 i saw the orange juice in the background =D

  • WAKACJE KURWA! :D

  • Doom, Duke Nuke 'em, and Wolfenstein 3-D! i played those all the time when i was little!

  • @frpeach and now you eat babies and kill kittens.

  • is this furious?

  • @NutzLOL yup

  • @NutzLOL yeahp

  • nice bear up there Dean

  • Word. A video game isn't gonna mess you up unless you're messed up already.

  • @leesway True

  • I agree with you as when I play Sonic I don't dress up as a blue hedgehog and roll down hills so why would I pick up a gun and shoot people after playing cod?

  • What is this yellow liquid inside the glass/plastic cup ? :p

  • theres a gangsta cheating with yo girlfriend

  • I'm all ok with people playing violent games etc. I've played them a few times, but I'm not really a gamer.

But games are meant to be fun/enjoyable and appealing; is it really enjoyable and appealing to pretend to kill people? To simulate actual murder?

Subconsciously, It must mean that people are pretty damn sadistic. So primitive; guess it's still in a humans nature.

  • I saw someone get decapitated with a knife in the middle of the street once.. Trust me.. I've played alot of shit, but that incident is still waking me up at night pretty regularely.

  • @mornadu fuck...where u from?

  • @mornadu

man i fell sorry for u dude that would have been horrible :(

  • FAT GUY MURDERED SOMEONE.

BAN ALL CHEESEBURGERZ. OMG. JAIL THEM ALLLLL.

  • @MustBeFiend lol!

  • Video games are not desensitizing. I mean really, last time I checked, the Romans and the Persians and the Greeks and all those huge military dictator super powers killed millions and they didn't have video games. Whoever made the first article that video games cause violence was prolly some stupid 30 year old guy who turned off COD on his child and observed his kid being pissed off.. I'd be pissed too

  • is that some long-preserved piss on you shelf?

  • Totally just saw some side boob and it was hotttttttttttttttttt!!! haha.

I agree 150% with your take on video games and violence. I did a paper on that exact topic back in high school for essay writing class. Someone who watches countless war/violent action movies can also be effected by whats going on. Personally like you said, something else has to be going on in their ticker to have them resort to completely crazy violence. It's not the games.

  • I totally agree i mean im (maybe) an healthy guy with a healthy mind i play violent games all the time and i didnt kill that much peole yet.. but one day i was at the brazilian Carnaval and like 50 meter from me a guy was shot in the back with more or less 6 shots and i was totally fucked up.. and i didnt even see the guy live i just heard the shots and a lot of people in my front screaming and running an did what they did so yeah some self experience for all of you :D And i still got 0 letters.

  • I agree.

Violent video games can only push someone over the edge, if the someone in question had a pre-existing mental condition.

  • You're a real fan of Brad Sucks, right?

  • k i didnt know what people where talking about when they said last 2seconds and boobs till i actually waited to the last second. I watched that 20....21times now.

  • Love his gf. Shes like what a douche lol.

  • I was going to show this to my mom until you said " fucked."

  • this aint a tanya video but i just got to say it... : boobs

  • Can pain be purely psychological yet perceived as real?

  • is that OJ, beer, or piss on the top shelf at the right

  • The people normally associated with say games are bad, are people who have never play them. Same thing with saying guns are bad without ever firing one or owned one. Each have uses but it those who abuse them that ruin it for everyone.

  • their was a survey thing that said FIFA causes more frustration and anger than violent games

  • World Of Warcraft = World Of StealLifeCraft

  • Thumbs up of you watched the last two seconds of the video again, pausing the video multiple times to see everything in most possible detail.

  • @ikeahase woohoo ^^ lol

  • Lol intro roundof flashkick :) i can do that too :)

  • zero impact ^_- you have a gangsta alter ego

    zing!

nah but srsly games have rating for a reason. if you dont want the youngins playing those games dont get the games for them?

  • i don't think violent video games fuck you up... I played gta and battlefield and cod since i was 8-9 years old and i'm ok now.. well i got to go now, i don't have much Internet time in this jail...

  • Bide Soob! Great video like always good sir! I look forward to future uploads :)

  • BATTLEFIELD!

  • PROBLEM: I don't play video games, but I kill people all the time...

  • @kizilable you should definitely play video games.

  • @DeanLeysen 1. ahem, caps locks shall be used to emphasize the importance of the message.

    2. you grew up with duke nukem BUT DID YOU KNOW DUKE NUKEM FOREVER IS FINALLY OUT AFTER OVER 12 YEARS OF WAITING.

    3. transcribe audio ending credits. "Music: look and feel years younger by brad sucks"

    o.O

  • @Eritsasaku Did you know DNF sucks ass and should have been left to rot in the hole it came from.

  • @Absorbing Did you know that's your opinion?

also never did i state the game was good or bad, i just stated it came out.

also No one plays duke nukem because it's the best shooter, you play it for cheesy one liners.

  • @DeanLeysen Was that a girl in your video? I am pritty sure it was! Thats awesome! I myself dont really know any girls so its alway's cool to see some girl in a video!

  • @DeanLeysen Like WOW! !! ;) Furious ..its all about gameee...PLAY THE GAMEEE....I KILL YOU I KILL YOU...Powning in game !!! like athene's mom !!! ahah "manaburn all of theme"

You know what i'm talking about :pp (Oldtime nostalgie)

  • @kizilable thats my problem too

  • i play some of the bloodies, goriest games out there like dead space, and fallout, but I'm squeamish as hell, i couldn't bear to cut a frog open and when the guy next to me did, i vomited. proof enough to me that games don't make violent people.

  • Your girlfriend is so pretty. :)

  • I played Barbie Horse Adventure. It was so bad, it made me go out, find an infant, and punt into the nearest river.

Moral of the story: violent video games don't fuck you up. BAD video games do.

  • you lucky sob. that is all

  • whats with the orange juice?

  • Dats OGFurious xD

    anyways,

    I agree with A!

  • I play violent video games all the time. I think that is why I am a serial killer.....

  • furious?...

  • favorite "youtuber" all the way - true,great stuff = )

  • I have played FPSs, strategy games, RPGs, and i am the most opposite of violet person. If anything, games, mostly RPGs, have taught me how to be better person.

I agree with u, and im sick of ppl trying to make games no1 cause of violence in kids

  • i think your my favorite "youtuber" now when ever i see one of your vids i click that one first.

  • <
