  • Amazing. simply amazing. Thumbs up for Stravinsky and this video

  • @PanBobik

Whether something is art or not remains an opinion, but music doesn't have to be pretty and nice-sounding to be art.

  • @PanBobik

    Shit? This is real music!

  • @EarlyRave84 So, what is in your opinion not real music?

  • @PanBobik There's no such thing as 'unreal' music.

Everything is beautiful in it's own right.

People put time and effort into composing and performing it.

That at least should be appreciated, if nothing else.

  • @PanBobik Everyone vote down this fucker.

  • @PanBobik ahahhahaa who are you, god? you know nothing about music, this piece its at least tonal, take a look to shcnittke

  • Ok, let me accept the term given or associated to the first famous compositions from Stravinsky: Primitivism, but I will give the terms corrupted and corrupter to the so-called civilized "Western society". ( Yes, I know that "it is Not correct" to leave the period outside the quote... And also, "Incorrect" to leave a space between the parenthesis and the sentence, or phrase, but I do not care... ) In case, you are already prejudging, AM NOT for one region; the whole world has something worthy..

  • consistently modulating, therefore non consistent key centre. Probably better to think chromatic rather than diatonic!

  • Man, everything about the rite of spring is so chaotic, seeing as how everything as how everything is played in a minor key, just out of curiosity, i wonder how it would sound if everything was in a major key?

  • @Flannymcgee You're wrong and right. The rite of spring's key is difficult to place, because it is a polytonal work.

It contains MANY keys at the same time, and not just minor keys, minor and major.

  • @gera1262 ahh! yes, now that i take a closer listen, i can hear the major keys as well. This is just such a strange yet wonderful piece all at the same time.
