  • 8 Pawns vs. a queen. DO IT!

  • ı understand final stage rook vs king

  • @6001990

dont worr, even grandmasters dont get the first part. Thank god there is a 50 moves rule ;)

  • I'd perhaps offer a draw instead. Does anybody happen to know any endgame theory for R+R vs. R+B+N? I've got one hell of a correspondence game going on which went down as the polugaevsky variation of sicilian najdorf, but I realized that I've never read anything about that particular endgame combination.

  • In this position, Rook vs. Knight is a draw.

  • i got a question...

Is rook vs knight a draw if the knight is in the center?

  • Yes, it is. In e4 and d5 Mate in 22. In d4 mate in 26, and in e4 in 20. d7 is de only square where is a draw. In the video is mate in 209.

  • At 1.40, wouldn't capturing the black bishop with white's knight make things easier?

  • no that position is a draw

  • No. This, would be a draw.

  • @WildChild80 you right!

It's not a smart rule.. black player made some mistake.
