Lee, this may not always apply, but has worked for me in the past: 1.) IF you've got good CONTENT that the audience wants (which you do), and 2.) IF you want to engage active listening vs. passive listening (which I trust you, do per this call to action) .... then put the mic down and step into the audience to interact directly via break-out groups and other active listening techniques... it forces people up from the back to HEAR me + they feel "touched by an experience" not just talked at
