I know this sounds really stupid but I think that The Rev knew he was going to die because he wrote the song fiction, which is about him saying goodbye to his friends and going to heaven. Also he spent about 8 years writing that song, and he also tolled Papa Gates ( Synyster Gates Dad ) that he was going to die before he was 30 and he has the word 'Fiction' tattooed on his body to show everyone that he was leaving us, and he did. ): R.I.P The Rev
