how does the proper magnalite run compared to the primo mix cassette im having trouble deciding which one to get

We're obviously biased towards the Proper hub. I don't know anyone who uses a Primo Mix but I know alot of people with Proper hubs and they're basically maintenance free. We very rarely get any warranty issues either and we sell tens of thousands of hubs.

It depends how often you ride, how hard you ride, what riding you do, and numerous other factors. It should last anyone a couple of years minimum.

@TomescuCalin I wouldn't worry about it unless you have a hub that's old and causing you a problem. All new hubs have had the lockrings already taken out for the last couple of years.
