I pulled ahead of one from a rolling start with a 4000lb car that had less the 240.

The horsepower on those Bimmers must not be backed by enough TORQUE (or guts).

I imagine an American car with just 300hp coming from a V8 would smash this 6 series.

first of all american cars rarely compete head to head with europeans cars. European cars are usually tier 1-3 luxury, americans are not. It is standard on all BMW 6 series. I just got one 3 weeks ago (650i 2009). U get 6 cars in one lol with it. Regular manual, regular automatic, regular sports automatic, sports automatic, sports manual, sports sports automatic. Get that car lol its worth everything u pay for it,
