  • FAUL is Doing Great !

  • And all you people mwho defend him,,,,your idiots,,,,yououoooouuoooooooo,,,,haaaaa

  • @reggihc And why would you know what those sound like?

  • This guy sang for 2 hours and a halp without stopping in Brazil for 3 generations. It was the best show in my life... 69 years old and simply wonderful.... and handsome.... I love him.

  • I've seen him a live twice. He is awsome... The best performer ever.. I don't have words for the emmotion

  • One person is a Justin Beiber fan

  • Uh, can't believe I missed this! Paul is a great performer and yeah, he does not look a day over 60! Even at 69, he still looks good, it's creepy but it's so true!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and the thing he does with the bass at the end, I' m pretty sure I' m gonna have dreams about that tonite! that was kinda hot!

  • Uh, can't believe I missed this! Paul is a great performer and yeah, he does not look a day over 60! Even at 69, he still looks good, it's creepy but it's so true!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I cannot believe he is going to be 69 in January. He is amazing.

  • @penisfuckeye He already is. His birthday was in June

  • Respect. A ton of it.

  • wonderful.

  • The day Paul retires is the day music dies.

  • @Lubbylove89 I really don't think he'll retire. I saw him last Fri and Sat @ yankee Stadium and he seems like he'll play 'til nobody wants to hear him...and you know that'll never happen.

  • @NYCMESBRNX Good. Then I won't have to start a protest :)

  • Part of the reason why this performance doesn't sound great is because the uploader had to shoot this video off his flatscreen TV to avoid a copyright violation with SNL. it's the best job I've seen of someone doing this but you're relying on the camera's mic to record off his TV speakers. Without the direct feed it's missing some of its kick.

  • I'm trying to figure out what some of you are talking about, this sounds great to me!

    Rock on Mr. McCartney!

  • how can anybody pick on Paul..omg, the man is legendary. He is rockin like always and doing phenomenal!!!!!!!! The world is lucky to have him!

  • There's no one to compare with. He's changed the world forever.

  • his energy!

  • He is starting to slip vocally a bit. It happens. I know,I have been singing his stuff for more that 30 years in many Beatles tribute bands. It is a natural thing to be in good voice on someday and not the great on others. Especially when you get up in years. It happend to Sinatra. Paul is still a great singer. Still making great records. And I have seen him singing great most of the time live if the man is well rested and the sound is good for him.

  • This band looks like they only get together on stage.

  • Dear curlinjoe, you are not kind with Paul and with the several millions of people which consider him well more than music. Also his energy is a good example for everyone of us. I would like to see you when you will be 68, or what you will do with your wife when she will be so old

  • No Paul dosent need to retire. He's doing what he loves to do and hes doing a great job

  • @guitar1297 And I'd pay $1000 for one of his tickets. You're too right sir, he doesn't need to quit.

  • All I have to say to the folks that are being picky.. You try and play bass, or guitar on this tune and sing the leads...It's a freakin' bitch! Very hard song to sing and play on at the same time.. Not to mention, he's seventy years old!

  • i am sure if the journalist wouldnt mention it the people will not say nothing, people are ships, the media has so much power on them

  • Nobody loves the Beatles and McCartney more than me......and I saw him live when he toured the U.S. in the 1980's....when he was a YOUNG 47 year old man. That being said, Paul's vocals were flat out disappointing here. All the sugar-coating that is going on here is BS, and rockers like Mick Jagger and Roger Daltrey voices are also disappointing. Yes, yes, yes....I know people age...yeah I get it....I too am aging, and it was WONDERFUL to see Paul now in his 60's perform these classics, but....

  • @colderbeer I saw his this past summer in London, Salt Lake City and Denver. His voice during those concerts was terrific. At 68 one I suppose isn't as consistent as 30 years earlier. Bad days good days.

  • @manbigus I'm sure that you're right. I admire Paul McCartney for not using some form of lip-syncing. It was probably offered to him and I admire him for going on stage and him REALLY singing those classics...

  • @colderbeer There might just be some people in the world, loving Macca's music even more than you do, myself included. I saw him too in the 80's, I was in my twens, and I saw him again last year, three times (Arnhem NL, London: Hyde Park, HMV Apollo) and I was amazed and thrilled. By his voice, his energy, his still very good looks... True, his voice has changed, but matured, and I really really liked it. I'm sure there's no one in the world who can beat his life performances! Go see him again!

  • Mix*

  • I honestly think it might have been the monitor mix for this song. His shows from 2000, 2002, and 2008 and not to mention DVDs (!) are allllways in tune and then some! On Get Back he was freakin amazing for belting out those top notes!!! I would have been bothered singing with a bad mic blown in my face too. He has always and still has the ear. Greatness. Luv you Paul!!!

  • He might have had a cold, and jetting around tha world ain't good for your voice!

  • There must have been some technical problem where Paul could not hear himself singing and so he was flat on a lot of notes. The other songs he played that night he was in tune except for a few high notes.

  • Wow! All you critics might be better off out there singing and putting Sir Paul to shame, like he deserves! And try not to sing out of key, friends.

  • Hey No Autotune!

That in itself makes him better than 90% of the posers out there.

  • Time to retire? You´re kiding!! Paul is like good wine, the older, the better.

  • @cloclo1302 Yes, he is like a good wine...the older, the better.

  • Yeah, I think it's time to retire Paulie, but you're still awesome.

  • un capo totalll!!! aun no me olvidooo como explotaba River el 11/11/10 en bs as!! geniooo!!

  • Yeah right, same identical thing.

  • He sounds like me in the shower

  • Love u Paul! and..... Brian Ray is one cool dude! :)

  • Paul sings in his show 4 hours a nite, he is 68....you have freakin rocks in your head ....HE Sounds awsome here

  • @curlinjoe Why would you think that? ill let this guy sing until they shove his ass into a coffin

  • @jackcirbee paul will never die u fuck. dont think that way

  • I love Paul but I cringed when I heard this... I was thinking, can Paul hear himself? Is something wrong happening? I think Paul knew he went flat because he gives Wix a look 1:32 and Wix gives him the biggest "aaaahh!! - - just go with it" grin....

  • @jzerony Yeah same here....Love Paul but went Eeek when I heard this :o( But then...I listened to get back from the same night and he sounded good!

  • @andie361 couple of nights later he did the Apollo and sounded great.... which just goes to prove it had something to do with the someone at SNL screwin' up somehow...

  • @jzerony Yeah...I honestly don't think he could hear himself.

  • @andie361 1985 Live Aid closing act, 'Let It Be'. someone forgot to turn the sound on for his microphone, etc.

  • We Love You Paul Just Stay Away From Obama

  • oh yea, and this youtube video doesn't represent what it really sounded like live on tv....looks like he pointed a video camera at his TV (no offense meant), but the sound quality will suffer when u do that...

  • @johndough247 it doesn't change what note paul is hitting

  • sorry folks, i'm a big McCartney fan...but everyone blames it on the mix...yea it's bad (the guitars aren't very present, the vocal mix is terrible) but that's only one of the problems:

    1) Paul is getting up there in age, sorry to say...either he had a cold or he just can't hit those notes like he could back in the day (it happens)

    2) Those cheezy horns/strings sounds from the keyboards...i cringe everytime i hear it...it's 2010, surely he could find better sounds than that..

  • Fantastic!!!!

    made forever

    thank you Paul

  • Paul is 68 - still going strong. SNL is 35 and very dead. Do they really think the stuff they do is funny? I watched just to see Mac, and that show has completely lost it. Felt bad for Paul.
