i have one of those line 6 spider 3 amps, its got all sorts of effects to mess with, you could do alot with it.

ah i do love effects but im not a huge fan for amps with effects. mostly because of how much of a pain it can been switching between them. =p

yeah thats true, i just play with one at a time, theres alot of presets for bands on it like deftones, as i lay dying, killswitch engage, funeral for a friend, thursday, tons of 'em. fun to try out tunes in different settings etc. have you ever heard that deftones song battle axe? well i was actually able to get the exact same sound as the original by using a killswitch engage tuning, a bit more fuzziness and a softer but sharp sound, fun stuff.

some minor mistakes, check out the power tab for this song, log on ultimate-guitar. by the way, I also play this song and living together as well (awesome cover by the way), but I just can't seem to get my guitar to sound like yours or like circa's guitarists. can you please tell me what effects are you using for this song and for living together? This looks like Colin's part spliced with a bit of Brendan's I think? I know this is a pretty complicated song, but you nailed the intro perfectly, and then the choruses just weren't the same. Good effort though, I've tried learning this a few times and I'm just too damn lazy to memorize it. It's really rad though, I use the chord shapes pretty often.
