@ronburgandy88, I didnt care if this engine blew up since I plan on installing an aluminum Dart 302 block with 4-bolt mains. If this engine had blown I would be out a over 1grand for trick flow wedge heads, no point in putting to much money into this engine as its goin to the scrap anyway.

But this truck was totaled and a new project truck in the making that will be all blacked out with no chrome trim anywhere including the wheels. The new project almost done.

I plan to do the same with this engine though I want to go with a Dart 302 Aluminum Block and stroke it to a 347 with forged aluminum pistons, forged steel H-Beam rods and forged steel internally balanced crankshaft with Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads with Trick Flow aggressive cam. This truck was totaled in a rollover. I am currently building a new truck with parts from this one.

@SJ77F100 go to cardomain. By the way I dont expect it to hold up either kinda waiting for it to blow thats why it has stock heads and stock internals that are just balanced. It has a girdle so should help a little but I dont expect it to either. Once it blows its going to be replaced with a Dart aluminum 302 block w/ 4 bolt mains and girdle along with 347 forged stroker kit w/ h-beam rods and then thats when I will install trick flow heads...

@joey390burnout, I dont really know numbers because when I installed manifold i did a whole lot of other engine mods at the same time like the K&N cold air intake, bbk throttle body, bbk shorty headers, removed 1 cat, installed flowmaster muffler w/ turn down right where cab n' bed meet along w/ 21lb injectors and a tune. I also had some shorter & wider tires installed at the time which gave it better acceleration, its like changing ur gears. I gained about 90hp w/ this setup & I could feel it.

@joey390burnout, Im pretty sure the intake manifold will gain anywhere from 15hp+ depending on additional mods. The throttle body I think did nothing really since it was just the twin 56mm and not the 61mm. Im going to upgrade later to twin 61mm, and I should see an increase in power with the turbos as it will flow air easier into intake...

@kdawg7070, Long tube headers, no cats, flowmaster with turn downs, intake manifold, cold air intake, SCT switch chip with custom tune, Trick Flow heads and cam, 3.73 or 3.93 gears for daily driver or 4.10 gears if its not your daily driver. Any of these will give you power, of course there is always boost and spray.

@warriorpride6256, truck was originally my fathers which he gave to me when I was 15 years old. So basically truck was free, as for the 4wd thing, I really dont like the independent 4x4 suspensions on these trucks. I like solid front axles with custom 4 linked front and rear suspensions with coilovers and they are just way stronger and better looking too. I also dont like the borg warner transfer case i rather go with an atlas transfer case.

@killsomething1, these f-150s had independent 4wd suspensions in the front & bolt in exactly where the I-beams on 2wd trucks do. The clutches provide slightly shorter shifts since the clutches provide 33% increase in clutch apply area, as well as with stand higher heat temperatures which is the leading cause to transmission failures. They are also less likely to warp plus assure less wear against opposing steel plates. The increased surface provides shorter lock-up time - decreasing "slippage"

@ColeDurell The turbo setup in mine is all custom. They dont sell kits for 5.0 F-150's. What I did was buy turbo headers for 5.0 fox body mustang and turbos as well. Everything else is all custom from intercooler tubing, universal intercooler, custom exhaust, turbonetics blow off valve, msd 6btm with boost timing retard, sct switch chip w/ custom tune. 42lb injectors, 255 walbro fuel pumps(had to modify to fit), aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. Plus alot of modifications to make turbos fit

@ColeDurell I had to get summit alternator bracket which eliminates stock belt tensioner and moves alternator closer in so pass. turbo would fit. This bracket also eliminated the smog pump so I got rid of cats as well. I also had to get rid of egr valve or pass turbo would not fit either.  I also had to get a 1" trick flow intake manifold phenolic spacer so intake would not be touching turbo on passenger side. I had to get a smaller belt and a 90 degree swivel water neck too
