the reason the fourth mallet isnt used that much is because its not needed in the sticking for the peice. good job guys, i study under Dr. tyson and i can play this as well, very very good. only thing is try to speed up a little more gradually at the :40 second time. its sounds more like what he plays
good performance over all. i would pay a little more attention to music markings with tempo and breaks and pauses. you played most of it too fast with way too many breaks and slow downs. that would also help with note selection. good performance though. i'm playing it in a few weeks at our spring concert. its my favorite keyboard duet

I just noticed that your outside mallets spend a lot of the time not moving...
This is just my opinion, but since you're holding four... why not use all of them??
