There is probably a complicated psycho-social reason for this. There might even be a biological reason for this. Likely it transcends culture.

I am sorry but that is absolute BULLSHIT! It's not a disease ore reaction on some thing that happens... It's just nature... I can say 90% of the straights are that way because there daddy and mommy told them they had to be... that's morally wrong because sience has prooved that actually 89% of all people have bisexual feelings 10% is gay and 11& mostly straight... but i think i can't say that huh... because nobody wants to say was good and right anymore... fool!

Now, I have to strongly disagree that 90% are straight because their moms and dads said they have to be. The majority of people don't have their parents tell them one way or another until the situation occurs. I never had my parents sit me down and talk to me about gays. About drugs, alcohol, and sex, yes, but not gays. So you can't say that 90% of straight people were originally bi or gay and that parents changed it. That's just not right.

i personally never had my parents tell me one way or another about homosexuality. i never heard anything about homosexuality. i really didn't even know what it was until about 5th grade. and that was from a kid at school. i mean, seriously. we make our own choices. you can't say that 90% of people would be gay or bi if their parents had been fully open about it. it just doesn't work that way. plus the fact that guy reproductive organs & girl reproductive organs are made to collide.
