  • Are all American's loud?

  • Good review. I like the movie too. Kids should see it because kids don't want to only see light stuff.

  • i was crying at the ending

  • U R AWESOME I AGREE W/ U 100 PERCENT

  • the movie was kind of creepy and a little dissapointing

  • LOL you look like a blonde asian ROFLMAO while you are talking you were soo fucking hilarious...

  • youre insane

  • I couldent agree with u more, I absolutly LOVED the movie. It made me cry as well an brought me back to being a kid. You did a great reviw. I also agree that kids back in the 80's an early 90's love thses kind of flims, kids thses days are into such shitty crap that dosent make them think at all. But way to go!! P.S. The music i felt was kick ass!!

  • umm yea your seriously a total douche if you like this kids movie,it made you cry? wtf...grow up!

  • This is an awesome movie, I stumbled across it for free at: WATCHMOVIES4FREE {.} ORG

  • sorry guys, but my entire family thought that the movie was full of emo retards. the wild things are supposed to be WILD not aw... okay movie. just focused to much on the personalities.

  • Wow only gay faggots liked this film

the beggining of the film was PERFECT i can not lie

but when they got to the island there were many plot holes and i was bored, i didnt like the fact that the monsters were realistic and not a little kids immagination, the camera was too shaky and gave me a head ache, horrible film d-,

fucking gay stupid faggot learn how to review films, spike jones sucks ass for ruining this great book,

an hour an a half of crap

  • I am disappointed that you could watch this whole movie and not have the brainpower to realize that it's an allegory, and a brilliant allegory at that.

There were no plot holes, each character was just a part of Max's psyche/worldview and it should be clear that his interactions with them represented his inner turmoil in a very direct and accurate way.

I agree with the dislike of shaky cam though, and your opinion on the looks are yours, but this was a great film.

  • sad to say ur kind of right...i was like ummm??? what was the point of this movie?? i can think of my own afterthought about it but at the same time Max went back home happy, the movie just made him glad that he was home and NOT on the island

  • Well that was one of the central themes, to appreciate your family even if they're not quite what you want or expect them to be. I mean, he spent the whole movie inside of his head on a really intense and sometimes kind of creepy adventure. Once things were settled in his head he was just glad to go home where things are, by comparison, far better and more peaceful.

  • yeah thats true...i guess he was just glad to go home and be the kid again and not the king or boss....but like after reading and rereading the book....being with the wild things was suppose to be a happy and wild fun adventure, then he got tired and went home to dinner satisfied with being as wild as he could, but the movie made it seem as though he was just happy to be away and safe

  • Well the themes of the book aren't really the same as the themes of the movie. It still was an adventure, and one that was for a time pretty happy and fun, except the wild things were much more specific and characterized in the movie, so you could see with more insight into the mind of the protagonist and the issues that he was trying to deal with through play. It's a child psychologist's wet dream XD

  • there were? throughout the whole movie i didn't see a truly happy moment or everyone, just at the very end

  • Well, pretty much every happy moment does EVENTUALLY get soured by conflicts between the creatures, but they are joyful for the moment. The wild rumpus when they first declare him king, most of the dirt clod fight, the main construction of the giant fort, and even the first time max sees the model city. All of these moments are genuinely happy, but that doesn't mean they stay happy all the way through.

  • i saw this twice did u get annoyed with the music

  • Put'em in the car with the window down. Ha! I like it.

  • Nice background music.

  • hahaha the music makes this sound like frickin npr

  • What's with the music in the background? Why aren't you in the place you normally are?

  • I agree I completely loved this movie for so many reasons

  • "I'm not gonna lie - a tear came from my eye." LOL - you're a poet. This movie was poetic. Max had a tear, and Gab was blubbering like a baby. Great review!

  • where the wild things are awesome movie and i in joyed it
