  • I believe we all have different reasons for loving/liking or hating/disliking a certain place or country. More power for the people who love it and stay away for people who don't. It's a free world to decide. Visit places you like and stay away from those you dislike. No discord about it.

  • @MsRwong And may I add,,,,always speak out and help expose places that commit crimes against humanity. Stay away from and do not support places or countries that are run by barbaric criminals such as Singapore, for their actions are insulting to free civilized people everywhere.

  • Sad and shameful is Singapore in light of the persecution and jailing of british journalist and author Alan Shadrake. International condemnation is exactly what the criminal government of Singapore deserves. Attempting to silence dissent and Free Speech will only backfire as the thirst for freedom will only be greater. Mr Shadrake is now a Hero standing defiantly against these barbarians

  • @butterflye2020 i dislike things like this so much. Im so glad I can vote in 2 years. Just put my vote in and end all these controlling nonsense.

  • I love this video and this country very much, I wish I could have a chance visit this beautiful and modern city, the song was so great!

  • ohmaygood i love sgp

  • i like the way the architects built the first two buildings (from the left) in the video (although there are much more buildings today)... at about 8-9am the "needle" of the building will reflect sunlight and look really brilliant, and from 8:30-9:30am the second building (which is totally mirrored) will reflect the light really nicely. love singapore :)

  • taylor gang or die

  • how u get the full video? let me guess, u were stuck inside the singapore flyer & managed to record this, eh?

  • So it seems that in Singapore it lasts plus a person in the jail to have thrown a chickle to the street that in Latin America a thief due to violating or killing somebody. We have to learn from Singapure, corruption almost zero, the excelence of a pragmatic and technician goverment with the most competitive country in the world. But not the flogging, that seems a bit twisted!.

  • "There are security implications for this, that somebody was able to penetrate a depot unnoticed and then commit damage,"

The depot is a highly protected place and anyone knows that. He went there at 3am cut the fences and went in unnoticed. What will happen if he plants a time bomb and set it to explode when it goes under the financial district in the crowded subway station.

Singapore law act as a deterrent. if you want to mess around, you better get lost.

  • SHAME ON SINGAPORE

Continued barbaric FLOGGINGS of male offenders and legalized brutality is commonplace. Many here are brainwashed into believing this torture is acceptable

    This is a Disgrace

  • @butterflye2020

children bringing guns to school with the intention of mass murder.

riots and looting on the streets

murder on the streets ruled by gangs

    these are what brutality is.

in singapore, i can go jogging at 2 to 3am with no fear for my safety.

the schools are safe and we enjoy peace and stability.

the law is just and there to protect us. and with it, naturally comes punishment.

the harsh punishment are meant to deter people so that the majority can enjoy the peace.

  • @phderrick You are mentioning isolated incidents. But in Switzerland; the country that has the lowest crme rates in the WORLD, these things do not happen, peace and stability are enjoyed and THEY DO NOT TORTURE as Singapore does. The government is civilized. This is an excuse or reason for legalzed brutality. Laws in Singapore are unjust as there is gender discrimination against males and not applied equally. The penaltys are not "harsh" they are vicious and violent.

  • @butterflye2020 you cant really compare Switzerland to any other nation like that. Switzerland is easily one of most pleasureable places to live in, its like comparing South Korea to Brazil in football. Both good, but one will never touch the other.

  • @toolfan92 At the time of my original post, which was one year ago now, the criminal Singaporean government permitted a Swiss man (Oliver Fricker) to be sentenced to brutal beatings for spray painting on the side of a train carriage. Since the man was a swiss national I referenced Switzerland ( his country--also with a very low crime rate--but without barbaric judicial torture).

You are right though, no comparison between a tyrannical barbaric entity

  • @butterflye2020 actually i wished they had deported him back to Switzerland and left the graffiti on the train. Because it sure as hell spiced up the dull exterior of the carriages. However, its not as simple as vandalism, he broke into a high-security place (the train depot), that alone in a lesser country could have counted for terrorism and intent to damage national security.

  • @phderrick

The sexually perverted ritual of FLOGGING male offenders is epidemic in Singapore. Every excuse has been used to excuse the inexcusable from low crime to deterrent. No statistics on deterrent and this sick violence against males is now court ordered so fanatically and has increased so drastically that any "deterrence or effectiveness" is now called into question." These are crimes against humanity. This torture treatment is degrading and disgusting and is the SHAME OF SINGAPORE.

  • Singapore is ruled by Nazis ! Singapore is absolutely condemnd by

Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International !

Singapore is a barbaric torture State ! SHAME ON SINGAPORE !!!!

  • @cockpit777 oh,another hypocrite.or is it that you try to smuggle drugs in Singapore and fail?

  • @spartand001

ha ha ha ha yeah, the law and police work for the drug mafia in Singapore ! They made the prices for drugs becoming higher ! ha ha ha ha

  • @cockpit777 just get a life
