I love this song a lot, but it doesn't help me very much... I'm 17 and was born with Spina Bifida and I'm a junior in high school. I'm also depressed and sometimes cut... I'm tired of the very few people that say , "Life will get better! Just pray and trust God!" Or, "Stop being selfish! You're depressed because you're thinking about yourself! (That's true, but obviously it doesn't help or make me better...:/ Or even, the old classic, "You're beautiful just the way you are!" I used to totally b

Thank you for making this video. Happily, I am able to say that I have not had the problems described in this song, but I know the danger of them, and am very grateful to you for making this video. It impacted me to want to help other girls my age(I'm still only a teen) more than the original video ever has or will. Thanks again! :)

dude i cried during this and not the original and i've never cried in ANY music videos except for the "runaway love" one, and it totally moved me. even though i'm only 13, i still cover my face with makeup and mess with my hair an hour a day just so i look "okay enough" to go to school.

I thought of this song as I was straightening my hair "Her hair isn't straight, her body isn't fake and she's always felt over weight" I've always been over weight and frizzy hair. I'm also 24 and regret some nights. Have done things I said I'd never do. Gonna listen to this again. Last time I heard this on K love I had surgery and had a medical vaccume attached to me and didn't feel really beautiful. But then I broke down and cried *just as I'm doing now* gotta stop listening to Satan's lies!

... this brought me to tears ... Laura, THANK YOU. For myself, and for all of us who have ever been there in the past (I was bulemic for 2 years in my early 20's, and I am nearly 55 !!) and all of the people going through it today. My 16-year old has been bulemic since she was 11 ~ no, she didn't know that I had been ~ but it shows you how prevalent and pervasive and ongoing this horrible disease is. I have a cousin who has suffered thru it also, and now her adult daughter is too...Again~ THANX!

You did a excellent job. Eating disorders need to be addressed more and more. I wish well know movie actress's and singer would band together and touch a pond this matter. But girls see it on the big screen and they see singers that are skinny an they begin to think that is what is acceptable. But its not how our Creator created us. We are all individually created differently.

I absolutely loved this video. It was done so well. It is just like what girls go thru in their teenagers, I've gone thru most of this at my young age, but turning to jesus has really helped with alot. This video gave me goosebumps(:
