  • Can I use the mango mousse to fill a cake? I got a mango mousse cake for my birthday which had the mousse on the outside and on the top finished with gelatin. I want to make a wedding cake with fondant on the outside. Will the mousse be thick enough to use as a filler inside the cake in layers?

  • IF IT WAS POSSIBLE ..... I WOULD GET THAT MOUSSE FROM THE SCREEN DIRECTLY..... HA .... JUST JOKING .... OTHERWISE GREAT COOKING

  • lol

    english

  • I agree with Sujeet. Mine dint turned out jelly consistency. it was liquid only after keeping in refrigerator for 2-3 hrs also. wish vah chef would have given proper measurements.

  • I agree with Sujeet. Mine dint turned out jelly consistency. it was liquid only after keeping inrefrigerator for 2-3 hrs also. wish vah chef would have given proper measurements.

  • You need to learn the act of providing correct measurements and temperatures, random or approx quantities like "2 packets"," little bit of milk"are absolute rubbish way of teaching people who love to cook. I like your end product but you need to make changes as in mentioning right quantities and talking slowly. You have a thick accent and its difficult to understand but i really try hard to follow so i can cook Indian food being british my love for indian food is never ending cheers.

  • Thanks for the recipe! I'm going to try this tomorrow iA :)

  • can i use jelly instead of gilatine and can i use condensed milk inn place of whipping cream as these products are not easily available in my local market...

  • can i use jelly instead of gilatine?

  • @siyawatch JELLY?!?!?!?!?! YOU NUTS!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is Mango puree made of real mango or a mixture of stabilizers and flavoured powder?

I'm always hesitant about buying processed fruit.

  • hey! iam not sure if u read ur comments but i was hoping u cud give exact measurements like how many cups is a can of mang puree or how many grams is the gelatin instead of just saying packets as diff manufacturers pack their producs in diff measurments. iam from hyderabad, india and iam sure we hv it diff here.

  • Hi

I tried this recipe... but it remained as a liquid.. it did not set. i was not able to get a solid consistency even after keeping in teh fridge for an hour. how much pectin should i use ? what is measurement of pectin?

  • @SUJEETGA Read the instructions on the box/label. You can also try to use corn starch to thicken it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've used corn starch in many recipes to great effect.

  • @SUJEETGA

    2 Packets....

  • @SUJEETGA Most of the time mouse needs to set over nite.

  • @SUJEETGA You whipped too long :P

  • I think he's very nice, thanks for the recipe : )

  • I tried this recipe and is delicious. Perfect mousse

  • I HAVE A JOKE FOR YOU:

there once was a car, or was it a toyota? anyhoo, minnie mouse walked up to the toyota and said whats cracking? then the toyota said EGGS! theeeen, minnie mouse jumped onto the toyota and swallowed what she THOUGHT were eggs, but really it was all GIANT CORN! :O so then they crashed into a mango tree, and minnie mouse slowly transformed into a MOOSE. then the toyota said: OMG YOURE NOT MINNIE MOUSE, YOURE MANGO MOOSE!

  • @njjluver1 he is not from a english speaking country....hes trying his best to make you englishmen fags understand.....show some respect...

  • @mpingola yeah, i think he speaks english quite well, he does say a few words with a strong accent but that not his fault :) he's doing a good job

  • @mpingola India is a English speaking country, it's an official language of the country and has been spoken there since colonial times. Indians just have a different dialect of English, much like that of southerns and valley girls do.

  • @mpingola ya i agree he is from a country where they speak more languages than any other countries..so those who speaks only english be proud of him speaking the englishmen's only language English....

i love his cooking. pretty good with his language and excellent with his recipies....

  • @mpingola lol it's kind of funny that his grammar is actually ALOT better then most Americans.
