I think they did a switcharoo with a dummy cat somehow that had a mechanism loosely holding the head attached until split.

They probably taxidermied the same cat and re-shot it with the taxidermied cat much later.

this is not a fake advert, the company who did all of fords adverts in 2003 made (whether for a joke or seriously!) this but ford obviously deemed them unsuitable and unusable, they then chose a different advert, meanwhile someone at the advertisement agency decided to release it without telling ford which then led it to being all over the net.

The story is that Ford rejected the cat advert. It then got posted on the net by someone at the ad agency. Ford kicked up a stink and the agency launched a witch hunt to find out who was responsible. Meanwhile, the ad went viral with everyone passing it on to friends. Some say Ford did it on purpose. I say they arn't that clever; they just got lucky. Was it good publicity for the SportKa? I saw the cat ad, checked out the car, and now I've got one sitting on my driveway! Here kitty kitty...
