  • Very nice review! I used my Jackson DX10D with SH-1 and SH-4 seymour duncan pickups to receord "A Different Lifetime" on my page. Check it out when you get a chance

  • Hey Bro-Thanks for the cool review.I just bought a new DX10D and I plan to block the bridge too. The PU's are "Duncan Designed" and was told they are designed after the SD "Distortion" PU.

Remember one thing-EMG's are killer but being "active" you won't be able to get quite the organic sound as the passive pu's.

Do some research on "passive vs active before you invest. But EMG's are the best if active is what you want.

Keep rockin' my friend and thanks again.

  • i love my dx10 man, got it on wendesday, its fucking kickass

  • should i buy this guitar?? some pls tell me.

  • @BeHemoth481000 Yeah man do it. I'm totally happy with mine now that I got the bridge stopped. Great guitar, I use it as my main guitar.

  • @ChadA23 okay thanks man, im just tryin to start a metal band, and my fender strat isnt givin me much of a metal sound at all

  • I had that exact Jackson, same finish and everything, and I got it for $400 with a terrible Floyd Rose. It had many problems. Is your Floyd giving you any problems at the moment?

  • @ddddfffss124 Yes the Floyd Rose was terrible and I had the bridge stopped.Totally worth it. It stays in tune forever now, though you can only dive bomb after doing this. You can't pull it up.

  • @ChadA23 my floyd rose works just fine. now im scared

  • hey what kind of amp are you useing? and any other effects

  • @ZABBS22 The amp is a Behringer GMX 210 with probably reverb and or delay that comes on the amp. And I use one channel for clean, and one for distortion. You can switch between the two by button on the control panel or by footswitch

  • Horrible camera person.

    xD

  • @Splintervention Well if it makes you feel any better it was my 7 year old brother.

  • is the neck pickup the 81 or the 85?

  • @iRaiseTheDead To be honest, I'm not sure. They were in there when I bought the guitar

  • @ChadA23 haha thanks anyways for the response man, sweet ax, and I've got that strap aswell.

    stay metal.

  • @iRaiseTheDead You're welcome! And thanks love this guitar!

  • @iRaiseTheDead

With 81/85 sets the 85 is usually in the neck.

    Hope I helped

  • is the bridge is rust proof

  • you said jx10d

  • @WizdomOfFear Ha ha so I did. Good catch lol

  • @nosebleed84 For mine, we glued a piece of wood so that the trem couldn't move anymore. And that's it! Just set the trem flush with the guitar and block it with picks or whatever you want.

  • Hello! What about the Floyd Rose? It keeps the strings in tune? Is the guitar light (weight)? Thanks!

  • @defragjones I own this used, so I can't tell you if it's a common problem or not, but mine was nearly impossible to get in tune. It would always snap the high E string. Once in tune stayed VERY well but was too much of a pain to mess with so I had the bridge blocked meaning they made the Floyd so it won't move anymore. No more tuning problems and stays in tune awesomely! And this guitar is pretty light. Not hard on your shoulders at all. My main guitar now.

  • nice review

  • @jeremiahtaylor601 Thanks =] Hope this helps you in deciding whether or not to get it! I really don't think you'd be disappointed!

  • @FIREBOLLS1 No problem. Hope this helps. It really is a great guitar. Lol that's crazy, I actually have two of these lightning straps XD On both my guitars that I use
