@onlydadopest The truth about Cradle 2 The Grave. They were supposed to be 3 fights between Jet and Mark. Mark was supposed to win the first, they are even in the 2nd, and Jet wins the 3rd. Jet didn't want mark beating him on camera so he had the script changed. Mark's technique is cleaner and Jet didn't want being shown up. As for Mark saying Jet is faster...that's Mark being humble.

Great that you're in studying to be an actor. when you have a few year under your belt actually working in the industry, then we can have a conversation about it. as far as the two of them fighting it out, i can definitely tell you that Mark has the advantage. Jet is a forms guy who has never fought anyone in sparring or streetfights. I know that Mark has. I know about that interview.

I always wonder if he still knows how to use his capoeira skills. He only ever used them once which was in Only the strong if you guys recall it. We never see him use again in any other of his films. I would have wanted to see another movie where he uses capoeira. I enjoyed watching him use in Only the strong, it was sick !

You can see him practicing some Capoeira in Kickboxer 5 and some other films. You can see clearly these aren't Kung Fu moves he uses in some of the films.

Some of the more "circular" moves he's using are not really KF moves but Capoeira moves. You can see it clearly, but it's ok because every good martial artist combines elements from other arts as well.

I practice Ju Jitsu and I combine things I picked up in Capoeira, Wing Chun, Pak Hok Pai, Muay Thai, Escrima, TKD and Hapkido.

I don't think Jet li can ever beat the skills Mark Dacascos put in Drive ! His skills and stunts were like so realistic. Jet li's skills put on in american films are so fake. Especially in Romeo must die. You can clearly see he is being wired blatenly half the times. The only film his skills ever looked real was in Lethal Weapon 4.

@shamim13333 i am not wrong...Jet is a forms champion, he never competed in fighting. My point is...Jet has never gotten into a fight, I know for a fact Mark has. I've also worked with both of them on Cradle 2 The Grave. Mark is much more versatile and practical in streetfighting.

Mark dacascos is a true martial artist who is quiet under-rated in hollywood. he has in-depth background in capeora, shotokan karate and taekwando. he also has some wushu background. Its pitty, stereotypes like van damme gets so much popularity but true talents like Mark never gets that inspite of better skills. I think as overall and charismatic martial arts actor, he comes 3rd. The 1st being Jet Li and the 2nd is Donnie yen.
