honestly these people are giving u bullshitt advice.....that was good...but that is amazing peice ive transcribbed it for the cello...its amazing its very dramatic...u need to put more effort have more bow control....create tears....create any world imaginable....it will come this peice is very much capable of it...good job though...really...i dnt give people much credit...so take it...fix ur notes and youll be good

Pretty good. But, you need more depth to the sound, intonation is out in spots (that means slow, attentive practise), and you need to make sure when you lift your bow, and when you place it back down, it's smooth. You should'nt be able to hear the transition, that also goes for changing bow direction. But overall, nice! Good vibrato =)

Here's some constructive critisism from one instrumentalist to another. Clean up your notes. I'm listening to your version and Perlman's version side by side, listen to how each of his notes finish, before the next one begins to play.There is a clear distinction between each. Yours sometimes mesh together to make a middle note (or half note) that may cause the intonation. Once you clear up the notes, I would try to flow them together seamlessly. I know that's the ultimate goal. Listening to him

Perhaps experiment more with your violin. Maybe try to vary the bow pressume, bow contact point, different bow speed, and a combination of the above.

With my violin, I usually put a bit more pressume on the bow but try to balance it (depending on which string and position I'm at) with different contact point and bow speed to avoid "screechy" sound...

Just experiment :-)

Thanks. My violin teacher is always complaining about my vibrato NOT being fast enough, so I've been practising that way. But I completely agree with you about the "little fast" for the tone of the piece, some pieces just need a different kind of vibrato...
