  • Ad (1:12:51) Nietzsche (1844-1900), Schopenhauer (1788-1860), did they ever meet? And did Schopenhauer ever meet Wagner? (I know it isn't the most reliable source) Wikipedia claims that Wagner discovered Schopenhauer like in 1854? I know that Schopenhauer did have an immense intellectual influence on Nietzsche and supposedly Wagner, but it's not the same as them meeting personally which seems to be what Mr. Lieberman is saying. Is it just a metaphor or is it because it's american lecure :D??
