i was in may and june in leyte and cebu...so i saw many ferryboats there. the condition of them was in many cases bad...in holland they won't allow these ships to go out. better ships can save many lives...but an other reason that many people died is maybe that many filipino's can't swim, maybe its good idea from goverment to teach kids to swim at school, it can save lives. what happened there now is just terrible.
