Naw sorry to break your hopes but he dosent become a shinigami you remember in the last episode it said when humans die they dont go to heaven or hell they go to MU(nothingness) so he went to nothingness just like everyone else, the ending to the whole sieres is rong tho i wanted light to win either that or L cuz Near and Mello are both pathetic, no where near comparison to L
if you see the special directors cuts ending it is true that when u fade to nuthingness, light becomes a new shinigami and they show him talking to ryuk in the directors cut but light lost all of his memories and hes talking to ryuk
@Raigaara Yeah but have you seen the extra death note directors cut I believe shinigami are former death note users and the unamed shinigami is wearing a mask with a creepy smile and is wearin the same clothes when light died he through an apple to ryuk at the end and at the end of directors cut it shows ryuke saying isnt that right light AND in the beginning of the deathnote series ryuke says the shinigami world is rotting and is made up of nothing ness so you cant cancel out this idea
