the music was used on the doctumentaries about various aspects of the show, they are avaliable on video, the music was made by Keff McCulloch

Awesome video anyway :D i may have to get more genesis daleks, and the golden day of the daleks dalek, i wanted to make some of my own pertwee episodes, with that lovely negative dalek extermination effect!

I am still amazed how you recapture the essence of the scenes and yet make them entertaining without just making them seem like a copy. Did you record the voices in one take?

I did all off the voices together in order of as they were said. There were a few fluffs, but I cut them out.

Thank you! I know what you mean about the Dalek. But I only have two so it was difficult and I didn't want to start mixing different variations of Daleks together just to make up the numbers, so I stuck with the two.

what was the on goiing backing sound ?

Sure was! There are two sounds. The first, heared at the beginning, is the noise that alerts Davros of the Dalek production. I simply found a section without talking over it and looped it. The second is far quieter and is the main lab ambience, which was taken from the DVD's photogallery.

yes i though so, i wish the dvd had the music only option, which it should have as remembrance has it and that was released before genesis

It's a shame really. But I think the reason is Rememberance was composed by Keff McCulloch in the eighties, while Genesis was by Dudley Simpson in the 70's. And none of the stories that Dudley Simpson composed for that are on DVD have the isolated score. So either it no longer exists in the BBC's archives or Dudley Simpson didn't want it to be availabe. I doubt it's the latter, so I think they no longer have it.

thats a good point, BUT one thing good about the genesis dvd is that at the end of the genesis hour long documentry theres a nice minute long score of the main dalek theme

Brilliant as usual! Can't wait for your "Revenge of the Cybermen" scene re-creations. You could recreate that scene from Attack of the Cybermen where the Cybermen interrogate Commander Lytton and Griffiths, I like that one.
