The fact that Tifa goes in front of the enemy after finishing the Final Heaven reminds me of how Zell was finishing My Final Heaven since Tifa in the original game wasn't posing in front of the enemy like that... Actually the explosion reminds me much more Zell XD
@AzumangaFan13 Yes I remember I've played FF7 twice XD! Gave one shot to this about 10 years ago and one at the PSP PSX edition. But you gotta see Zell's Final Heaven to see what I mean.

I was surprised that they made her EX-Burst so close to the original Final Heaven, although I would've liked it more if she did all her Limits in sequence like she was supposed to...but that would've taken alot of in-game time. >_>
@AzumangaFan13 True, it would be much better but they saved them for the sake of her having Bravery and HP attacks based on her limit break moves... But it's true that it would be much better to do them during Ex-Burst as well... Well I don't know why they didn't do it but I suspect they did it to save Ex-Burst time just like they did with Squall's Lionheart for example whom they didn't put the 15 hit combo after Renzokuken but rather getting straight to the finishing hit...
@SwordSkill2 I was so surprised when I saw that Lionheart didn't have it's full animation. I was like "....VIII fans are going to go batshit..."
Everyone else had good EX-Bursts tho, Zidane's was good considering that all his Dyne commands were his normal and HP attacks, but his EX-Burst fit his character/personality.

Seems like you have put some thought into it, I'll agree with you and I'll also point that the finishing part where Terra and Gaia become one is where Zidane finally finds himself, that's why he must be so happy at the end :P. Well that's what I think at least..

Lmao, I think the bar itself was just a reference to the overall theme of IX, just like how Kuja's bar is the same. As for him being overly excited, that's just Zidane being Zidane...the happy-go-lucky Genome he is. :3

@SwordSkill2 Tifa's original Final Heaven was exactly like that, explosion and all.
It is a bit weird that she ends up back in front of the enemy, but it's only for cinematic purposes.
