You can't see they inside. I goto Guthrie schools and 2 years ago we snuck in. It's really creepy but the only thing we found were the police. It's owned by the city and is private property. And now they have monitors set up to make sure no one gets in. Unless you want to spend the night in the Logan county jail.

I live in Winston-Salem NC, and there is this town outside of where I live that has a road, which the locals call Gravity Hill. This is where I encountered some paranormal activity. There is a haunted story behind this road, but there's a scientific explanation for the phenomena that occurs here. It is said that a long time ago, a women's car broke down on this road, and her and her kids were pushing the car off the road and were struck and killed by a transfer truck.
If you pause the video at 0:38 or 0:39 in the video and enlarge the video, you can see a figure that looks like a human staring out at you in the last window on the bottom left of the far right structure of the hospital.

The permissions to this place are extravagant. They are ridiculous too. There has only been a recorded 4 people in this building in the past 20 years. And you can't exactly beat the holy hell out of it cause this hospital sits right in the middle of a neighborhood. It's pretty creepy looking inside. Medical care is expensive so many hospitals have to merge into one. Also the old buildings may need updating/repairs and it may not be worth pouring the money into it. Odd though, seeing such a big place like this unused. Someone owns it.

i lived in guthrie when this hospital was still running, it shut down in the late 70s due to being sued out of commision, a boy named Joshua Dean Altizer was born and not properly secured in his incubator, resulting in serious burns on his face, i know this because hes my cousin.
local police patrol the area and lots of security is in place to prevent intrusions. i've heard that before security was in place a kid fell through flooring and died.

@HattieLovesCattie YEA you got a point there the ecomney is BAD people cant afford anything anymore ever since chunute afb here in illinois near where Iam closed our town has become a ghost town 2 resaleshops and one small pet store and a small flower shop thats it THATS OUR DOWNTOWN,,,the old base hospital is rotting away like everything else is,,,I was born in that hospital I wonder if chunute afb old hospital has ghosts in there no one can get in it,,,,,

@Dolphindream15 May I ask town you're in? I was in Chicago a few weeks ago.It was my first time in that area and also visited parts of Ind and Mich ( near Chicago ).The most depressing town we did see was little Mich City,Ind.The nicest was Wilmette,wow those mansions!!!!!

@HattieLovesCattie I live in a small town in Illinois called Rantoul Illinois it is a very depressing town I dont even reckinize the town any more the guys I graduated with back in the class of 82 they dont reckinize the town any more either ever since chunute AFB left the town went with it,,our 4th of july USED to have a midway where there were all kinds of things going on food stands and rides the airmen would be there the AF band,,NOW a small parade and fireworks

@Dolphindream15 I just looked up your town.Its sad to see when the military closes a base,the town dies.Its about the same size as my hometown.My hometown( in northeastern NC,near Norfolk and the Outer Banks ) would die too if the Coast Guard closed.I don't see it closing coz they're needed for sea rescues at the Outer Banks or on the east coast.

@HattieLovesCattie now our 4th of july is a small parade and a small fireworks show thats it,,,most of the buildings on the former chunute AFB are falling down,,alot of wasted space,,our down town used to have restraunts and shops and we had it all when chunute was here but now all we have is 2 resale shops one small flower shop and one tiny pet store,,thats it,,no hard ware store no movie theater no bus no train nothing,, used to be 2 theaters on base one in town,now nothing

i went in there two years ago with my cousin and aunt and as we were walking up the stairs you heard foot steps behind you and if you quit walking they would get louder and louder and you could hear them walk right past you that was some freaky shit

I don't see a face... but if you want to see a creepy place you should check out videos on youtube for the old Buffalo psychiatric mental hospital. (Insane Asylum). I live just outside of Buffalo and we drive around the building and its so creepy!

My nephew and I treated this hospital for termites when we were working for his dad in the 50's. (AAA Exterminators) It was a Catholic hospital if I recall. Even spooky back then.

Medical care is expensive so many hospitals have to merge into one. Also the old buildings may need updating/repairs and it may not be worth pouring the money into it. Odd though, seeing such a big place like this unused. Someone owns it.

i lived in guthrie when this hospital was still running, it shut down in the late 70s due to being sued out of commision, a boy named Joshua Dean Altizer was born and not properly secured in his incubator, resulting in serious burns on his face, i know this because hes my cousin.

local police patrol the area and lots of security is in place to prevent intrusions. i've heard that before security was in place a kid fell through flooring and died.
and ritualistic satanists used to group there to sacrifice and left the corpses.
so haunted or not that building is scary as hell!

Bullshit as far as all these "ghost hunter" pricks go. You guys talk shit all day about things that aren't there. Why the fuck would a ghost be so sly and get you thinking "is it, or isn't it?" I'm sure they have better things to do, like meeting up with old friends and family.
