  • well, yeah i know that. and generally the japanese will tend to be very calm, and quiet at shows. especially with music like this

  • 1 estupido no entiende de buena musica

  • @krayzec I don't speak spanish but I totally agree with you!!

  • amazing tune...amazing band. i just love how the crowd is dead silent in the intro, and well..the rest of the song haha

  • @MetalHead420100 cause the music is worht hearing

not yelling at and what ever

  • Robert Fripp was a TERABYTE before there were adding machines

  • It is alive and I think that it was good.

  • the best progressive rock band ever... they blow my mind everytime i listen to them

  • like carlin only getting humourous when he quit drugs, crimson only got good till everyone else quit drugs.

  • A masterpiece. Their passage in 13/8 makes me mad ! Fripp is a genius !

  • Beyond words.

  • no other group of musicians has ever been able to do what these guys make look like a walk in the park. How do they do that? One mistake, and the whole song would fall completely apart. They must not be real. Perhaps they are part of an extremely complex computer algorhythm!

  • The band that goes places where no others dare to tread.

  • 1. Person is a Slipknot fan.

  • my favorite King Crimson song, I can't believe it took me this long to look up the live version.

  • WOW....THIS IS AMAZING skilled they are good stuff.... these guys have a beautiful thaaaang here.... post more

  • pardon my ignorance, but, does any one know what tunning does ADRIAN, NOT ROBERT, ADRIAN plays with?

  • @tomnas155 I'm pretty sure he plays in standard tuning....however, don't take that as gospel. :) Hope I'm right and this comment helps!

  • @tomnas155 Oops, spoke too soon. From wikipedia: "In 1999, Fripp mentioned in his journal that King Crimson singer/guitarist Adrian Belew had been experimenting with the NST for live and studio work centered around Crimson's then-current album, The ConstruKction of Light."

Not sure if he's using it in this video - or if he still uses it, for that matter.

  • major Cool. Thank you for posting this. Makes many bands look and sound pretty lame in comparison and this is live. Absolutely the best band I have ever heard. Harpo.

  • shockingly marvelous.

  • @lonelyguyserbia I'm afraid that this has more to do with music than anything you listen to... so keep that attitude with you forever. You don't deserve good things.

  • Perfect song

  • Adrian's gotta stop wearing T-SHIRTS on stage! Looks like he came from doing laundry.

  • @lonelyguyserbia You are entitled not to like it but please don't decry what you do not understand

  • Just echoing other comments really. Utterly fantastic entertainment.

their level of expertise is more epic as the years pass..

  • @lonelyguyserbia yes, you should!

  • Extraordinary delivery with LaserLike Precision... :)

  • The EleKtrik live album is so complex and precise and deep and funny and beautiful and avant-garde, that it's like alien technology. I suggest you really listen the album, the video is kinda distracting and it's not the whole package...

  • epic

  • Staggeringly brilliant music. Crimson have got better and better as they have evolved and have always pushed the boundaries of what you can achieve with music. I hope for at least one more album.

  • I wish these guys were immortal so that they could continue to blow me away for the rest of my life

  • the person who dislikes this video is jealous. Fuck you justin biebber

  • They're still interesting after all this time, always re-experiencing their innocence via new material, instruments, effects, and new personel. I tried but couldn't get into them until Belew joined up - but now with YouTube its fun to check out their earlier incarnations as well.

  • Great! I've ordered the album after watching the vid :)

  • PhilistineTheArtLuvr stop typing that shit , just enjoy the song

  • I've seen King Crimson live 15 times and every concert was awesome. They vary their stage entrances in some cool ways.

  • One of my favourite tunes, blending real composition with atmosphere and rock power.

  • Great upload. Thanks!

  • fantastic

  • notice how the old master never hardly moves? [ Fripp] the whole band is beyond words , not just music , but art at its best, russell the wizzard on myspace out of greater Roswell New Mexico oct 1th 2010

  • 4 words: The Power To Believe.

  • Did you ever realized how hard is to synchronize all this mess? Now realize how hard is not to synchronize! They do that!

  • Music of the mind, music of the soul, every aspect of music discovered so far starts here. Long live the Crimson King!

  • This was the very first dvd I ever got. I absolutley love it.

  • This is some seriously intense stuff....

  • HAHA fuck YES and GENESIS seriously, with Phil Collins crappy 80s pop music and Jon Anderson's lame ass mullets. Seriously they couldn't even come close to writing anythign like this

KC is the only true prog rock band that is actually Progressive, not just progressing ahead into the future but into other dimensions and worlds

  • hermoso!

  • just added this to my bulging collection, of the "King " . . . your right , . . . there are the "many " and there are the "few" . . . the few like you and I prefer the thinking music , music the many cannot understand , due to thier submission to radio crap, . . . . Ive always listened to king crimson , my love affair with thier music started in 1969 russell the wizzard on myspace

  • This is absolutely brilliant!

Thank god I had the chance to listen and grow up with bands like this.

  • prog lives!

  • Fripp is da man.

  • 365 views and one comment for this masterpiece??? Oh, well. Apparently the Mozart syndrome is still going strong in this world of ours. Which means KC is going to have to wait, oh, some 200 to 300 years before people go "Wow. This is some good, serious, sh*t!" In the meantime, give me some more Lady Ga Ga Ga, baby!!!!

  • @PhilistineTheArtLuvr Totally true!!!!

  • @PhilistineTheArtLuvr

no they don't have to wait at all :) simply there's not much to say but "great" and it is something everyone can hear him/herself. KC are simply stunning expecially live. I saw a date of this tour, it was 2003 i think and still it comes to my mind everytime i ask myself what was the best gig i ever seen.

  • @PhilistineTheArtLuvr Anyone who doesn't love this band has no understanding of how great they are. They straddled 3 generations of music listeners like a giant because they had such great musicians.

  • @PhilistineTheArtLuvr you said it

  • @PhilistineTheArtLuvr You're my friend man. Precise description of the state we're in.

  • @PhilistineTheArtLuvr Most important thing is that artists just make their art. Independent of who is watching or listening. Art exists without audience, but audience can't exist without art :) So I give a sh*t on how many people are actually aware of whats going on in arts. Lady Ga Ga is not art at all. It's an audio-product for children.

  • @PhilistineTheArtLuvr mozart is greazt, KC is great, take it easy, good music is atemporal

  • saw them at north sea jazz in the hague.

trey gunn is scary with his warr bass!

    cheers
