Nuristan is one of the remote province of Afghanistan which has been ignored by the government of Afghanistan for decates simply because it is too remote and hard to control. It has been abandoned again by the American troops for the sme reasons. And it is the people of Nuristan who suffer the most at the hand of hardcore Wahabi extremists who offer finacial stability to locals to uphold their extreme ideology and take up guns to fight.
