  • this program drives me up the wall.

  • just finished his interview with BULLETT Magazine..it was really great if you are interested i think you can probably just google : gabriel byrne and BULLETT Media....check it

  • Alcohol is a depressive drug.

  • Gay Byrne is a proper interviewer

  • What are the differences between Dublin accents and Saoirse Ronan's Irish one? How can they be described?

  • @hugh0221 Saoirse Ronan was born in New York and when she was 3 she movied to county Carlow which is in the leinster region. The carlow accent is a different accent to the dublin one.

  • amazing

  • PEOPLE are depressed because the CAPITALIST SYSTEM is shit were the general masses are concerned trapped in urban cities. In matters of alchohol and depressian THESE ARE THE EFFECTS of this evil social system. FIND THE CAUSE and change that then we will live in better and more humane enviroments, IRELAND more than most countries NEEDS THE ZEITGEIST MOVEMENT. I wish to speak with the ZEITGEIST chapter of DUBLIN so we can arrange a venue with LIVERPOOL on these matters. Please contact me .

  • One of the best actors on TV, and a fine Irishman.

  • A great interview. I didn't know GB suffered from depression. Love him as a actor.

  • @7165red Ireland ist NOT GB! it's the _republic_ of ireland and it's not part of the United Kingdom

  • @mojbeka Please calm down - GB means Gabriel Byrne with is the name of the actor from your RI ;-) (Interesting that you didn't take offence of the idea that whole Great Britain sufferes from depression).

  • He is totally right. My mother just passed from alcoholism last month and this was the same exact cycle she was going through with depression and alcohol. Don't let it ruin your lives or the lives of your families people. Get help asap!

  • @internalpeaceseeker how people relax is nobodies business but their own. saying its a toxin is irrelevant because some people don't worry about that. Besides, it's their body, not yours. Let them deal with the consequences of their drug of choice. to each their own, you know?

  • @TheSicInMe If people are able to drink not injure others then your absolutely right. However, sometimes the consequences aren't self contained. Hence, MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving). They get drunk and abuse people.

  • @LulzRoyce And legalize Ibogaine. NOW.

  • @SleekMinister what is that, i am clinically depressed, but don't use alcohol. I used to for fun, is it a European medication?

  • @debzeppeliniv It's an african hallusinogen that affects the SNS to a seriuosly immense degree. The Mbwiti use it in a ritual that siginifies adulthood and also as a therapeutic, but their way of life is so much in harmony with the drug that they must have higher tolerance in every way. To westerners it should be looked upon as a last resort, an alternative to suicide even. A little bit in your tea every day could be good for you, but basically it's spirit death. Do NOT take alone

  • @niburn it's a great dublin accent

  • How can I see the whole interview. The webplayer is not available for Sweden.:(

  • gay the true pro... as ever

  • great interview

  • Looks like intresting interview. I think that early closing forces people to consume more in a shorter period of time. If you went into a pub at 10:00 you used to be out by 12:00, also with the price of pub-drink the need to consume a load of cans first became the norm.

The whole culture/attitude to drink should change, especially as an escape-drug.

  • what did gay say at 1:00?? o.0

  • 'footless.....footless'
