A me piace l'opera, ho ascoltato quest'aria tantissime volte, in tante versioni differenti, ma di certo non posso definirmi un esperto. E nonostante questo anche io noto come Alfredo sia...sia...indefinibilmente scarso :D . A me lei piace moltissimo, anche se la preferisco nella "Traviata moderna" con Villanzon.

Dramatically, what we see here is of very low quality. Alfredo - who's he? - is totally flat and doesn't make a believable couple with Netrebko. Their whole body language and stage moving is not better than what one could see in an amateur production. Singing, however, is not bad. This is 6 years old, and it's obvious that this performer had still much to refine but was in many ways promising.

this is not awful. it's real. i think that the staging is nice; it has an authentic air to it. i liked the way that she interpreted the leading up to the big 'amami alfredo' part. i think that she may have pushed a little too much air into the 'amami alfredo' phrase because it was a little sharp and unsettled, but she was probably nervous about getting it right and just over shot it and perhaps held back a little dramatically in order to focus more on the vocal line. welcome to opera people.

I think this is one of the vocally most satisfying performances I have ever heard from Anna, she is really amazing here. Except for some smudged coloratura in act I, she is really amazing.

I don't think Russian women are glacial: on the contrary. They know what is real grace, real heart and real fire is, as they REALLY have soul and know how to love. No other nation is able to know it so well, as Russians. Netrebko did it the best way she could, but I feel that she got it no so dramatically, but a bit more gracefully as the other sopranos do. Not to talk about this tenor, who is a piece of s...t in this scene...

Why russian women are not adapt for violetta's rule.. ? It is difficult to sing La Traviata on russian/ But there were great russian Violettas: Negdanova, Maslennikova, Vishnevskaya, Cebotari (was born in Moldavia), Kuznetzova Maria and others/ and they were magnificent in La Traviata/
